hawkdad	Posted - 2005.03.26 04:05:00 - [736] okay this is bogus....got booted and came back to a pod. lost my ship and a hold full of zydrine. i'll take the loss since i shouldn't have been trying it while the game is a little hay-wire. however, if the connection is goofy, then shut the servers down for a couple hours 'til we can get a stable connection to play. this bites playing for five minutes and getting logged, for obvious reasons for me. :) hawkdad :)

Let me know - Shabitz I can only remember one outage like this one, about 1year+ ago when some other ISP problem arose... Other than that usual patch day (every 2-3 months) issues with multiple reboots while CCP feverishly struggles (with usually good results) applying hot fixes and doping their 100000000000000% to make everything work. For others CCP made the IP of the servers somehow icelandic, because they know that the telephone companys on iceland are a biatch and decide to put limits on foreign download and if you go over it you PAY. Let me know - Shabitz This level of issue doesn't happen often, I think once we had some major issues for part of a day several months ago. And BTW, the trace ALWAYS stops there, even when it is working fine, so that won't help you any. You can play on the test server, as it is on a different network and play with the new new features. Maybe this is their way of getting massive testing done before going live with it.
