The fact that we can't get to the server does not mean it is down. If there is a problem on the route between you and the server, it would not respond and appear to be down.
Now the restarting of the server seem strange unless the network problem is internal causing cluster communications issues.
My bet is tonight's problem is an internal communications problem, not their ISP.

The website you requested has been temporarily disabled. We have a number of Amarrians bringing in Minmatar labour workers to get it up back.(get it up back thats not english it should say "to get it back up" someones dont a typo on web site :P
And as ive posted before this problems not going away for a long time ive seen this happen before with other games "listen turn server off i bet if you have more than one server there its mucking around" check them all one by one even if you have to hire a pc expert to help you out cuz who ever is there is obviously tired and in that state you miss things

I recon, from the the other posters here, that the test server is up and that we do get count down timers now and then, it's logical to deduce that the main EVE server is WTFPWNZORED

It weird how the forums are connected like they are to the servers. Would be nice if they separated them so neither will affect the other?

I think IF/WHEN they get it back up, they should just give everyone 100mil and get on with bugfixes and making the game more better coming soon(tm), instead of wasting a week checking logs and replacing stuff...
On second thought... Forget more better coming soon (tm)... Just do bug fixing...
