unless people are auto piloting, i really don't see why they think flying a BR is going to be more risky after the patch...

They use freighters, not blockade runners. In other words, use a cloaky hauler with a scout to get into high sec, then use Red Frog to carry your junk into Jita.

Nevermind that, who brings a blockade runner and docks in amamake for any reason? You'd think by the time you have the SP to fly the thing you would know better.

I foresee blockade runners leading to an explosion in the trade of drugs and illegal goods. Produce drugs in low security POS, ship to high security in your blockade runner. If CONCORD can't scan you then you can't be arrested for transporting contraband, now can you?
It makes more sense than using cargo exploits and Russian dolls to use Orcas for moving around illegal goods, after all. There is a logic to it, and I believe that the above is what CCP intends with these changes.

Also, why was this change needed? Make the DST unscannable. My blockade runner is already unscannable (cloaked).
DSTs need something. They're so pointless. |
