Eve Defence Force - My Honour is My Life
Eve Defence Force is a Pirate Hunting corp with a military styled chain of command. However, this is not just achieved through PvP. We have a multi tiered divisional structure that covers a variety of careers within eve, all of which are dedicated to providing us with the military strength to fight Pirates. Maturity is a must (maturity of attitude rather than age) for all members.
Eve Defence Logistics: Responsible for mining, manufacturing and research. Combat isn't everyone's preference and it also doesn't come cheap. This is why as an EDF miner, builder or researcher you'll be able to get rich while helping supply our Legions with the necessary ships to hunt pirates with.
If you want to mine (or haul) the best ore there is and get paid for what you mine then this division is for you. An example of what you can earn is 156,497,565 ISK per week during a corp project (click here for our prices and the break down of how you can earn that much money).
If you wish to join this Division, please either e-mail us or Eve-mail Falgaroth to arrange a convo.
General Operations: responsible for organising EDF Agent Runners, allocation and training of personnel and Sales. Agent Runners: Responsible for the procurement of Impants and Tech 2 Blueprints.
With the introduction of level 4 agents, being a solo runner is no longer an option. By working within this division, you'll be able to call upon support to complete those missions with minimum risk. All we ask in return one in three implants gained.
If you choose to undertake an R&D Project, Eve Defence Force will fully fund all research in return for the Blueprint. Unlimited access will be granted to it though, should you gain one.
Eve Defence Sales: Responsible for trading and sales of blueprints, ships, ammo, modules, and weapons.
If you're a trader as part of our Merchant Fleet, Eve Defence Sales will fund your efforts allowing you to take a cut of the profits thus increasing the amount you make in a deal. Members of the Merchant Fleet are also responsible for delivery of items to our clients or our sales office.
Academy: Responsible for training personnel in their chosen field. If you're new to Eve and wish to develop your skills in a safe and friendly atmosphere, then Eve Defence Force's Academy is the place for you. When you join, you'll be given all the learning skills plus associated skills needed to start you off on your carer, a ship best suited for your profession as well as a helping hand from our instructors. Upon graduation, you'll be transferred to the Division of your choice.
If you wish to join this Division, please either e-mail us or Eve-mail Giskard B for general information, Joradino for Agent Running or Alastira for the Merchant Fleet or CynSage for the Academy and they will be happy to arrange a convo.
Corporate Fleet Division:
Our Corporate Fleet Division is split into two areas:
Legions: Responsible for hunting Pirates and other PvP activities. If PvP combat is your thing, then our Pirate Hunting Legions are for you. As part of this division, you are required to be able to successfully pilot anything from a Frigate upwards in PvP. You have no obligation to remain in that ship so if you have a Frigate and the skills to use it but wish to progress to an Interceptor, Cruiser, Battlecruser or BS then you choose the speciality and we'll fund your training. all you have to do is prove yourself an asset to us. We'll do the rest.
Covert Operations: Responsible for Intelligence gathering, Counter Intelligence and Black Ops
Extraordinarii
The Extraordinarii are our rapid response team. Members of this elite unit are rquired to pilot Covert Ops Ships, Interceptors, Assualt Frigates and Heavy Assualt Cruisers only. They are often the first sent in during combat or operate behined enemy ines to either spy, scout or harrass the enemies soft targets or pinpoint fleet locations.
If you wish to join this Division, please either e-mail us or Eve-mail Red Martian for general information, Rogal for the Legions or Ageis for Covert Ops and they will be happy to arrange a convo.
All members will be funded for skills, clones and items subject to length of service.
If you're unable to contact any of the above, please mail me and I'll be happy to talk.

Eve Defene Force wants to provide you with a friendly, fun atmosphere where everyone is able to relax and have a laugh. It's a game after all. In order to do this, we have a few simple rules:
- Be friendly. While you may not like someone for whatever reason, you're still expected to be polite.
- Have a sense of humour. We all have a laugh and we all like a lot of banter and we like to take the p**s. Eve's a game so don't take it too seriously.
- Communicate. When asked a question, answer it. If you go afk, say "afk". If you have a question or a problem, ask us. We can't help if you don't.
- Don't smack talk. Do and you'll be give a single warning only. Ignore it and we'll open fire on you.
- Finally, be tolerant. EDF is a multicultural guild. Intolerance will not be tolerated and will result in your expulsion. Our members come from various ethnic backgrounds and have various beliefs. They should not be made to feel uncomfortable about them. Banter's fine but we will know the difference.
If you can follow these rules you'll be welcome. If you can't, look elsewhere. In return for following these rules, we offer you fun via the following:
- For PvPers we offer daily combat across a variety of specialisms.
- For Miners we buy in the ore at above market prices, the ability to mine high end ore as well as the protection needed to mine it
- For Agent Runners we offer support on the tougher missions, fully funded research as well as a friendly atmosphere in which to play.
- For traders, a percentage cut of what you trade for the corp..
- For Noobs (and we've all been noobs at some point), we offer survival training regardless of your chosen field, fully funded skills programme, specialist training in your chosen field and mentoring upon graduation.
However, what we do not want are:
- Immature individuals. We couldn't care less about your age, it's a maturity of attitude we require.
- People with a selfish attitude. If you're only interest is in what Eve Defence Force can do for you, we're not interested. You can see what we offer here
- Eve trialists. We're not going to invest in you if you're on a two week trial and decide you don't like Eve.
- WoW trialists. Same as above. If you're on a trial for another game such as WoW, decide if you're staying in Eve before you join. We do stress that if you're sharing your gaming time between two games then that's fine. We just don't want you to join then leave Eve a week later.
So there you have it. All common sense stuff really. If you want to make a difference in Eve, are willing to follow our rules and meet our criteria, then drop us a line either at [email protected] or Eve-mail the dept. Head directly.

I've been in EDF for a little over 2 months, and I have thoroughly enjoyed my time here.
They are very devoted to their corp and its members, I recieved tons of help concerning PVP and other topics which I was very much in the dark.
All the guys are very friendly. I was surprised how welcome I was when I first joined, and how nice and helpful everyone was and continues to be to new members.
But they don't limit you or regulate what they want you to do. You can do whatever you want: mining, missions, PVP, R&D, etc. And if you need help with any of it, the Academy is there to answer your questions and even train you. I've been doing PVP on and off, and when I'm not PVPing I'm helping with the mining division or doing missions.
No matter what you wanna do, Eve Defense Force is great for any of it. The White-Trash Icon |

A+ Number One Group Guys Fly With! Extra Helpful! Recommend this corp!!one1 /ebay
Really though, this corp is full of the kind of people who you'd be happy to call your friends if everyone went to a bar/pub/(don't know what they call them in Australia). Plus John is, in soul, the spitting image of Casablanca's Rick, and that's never a bad thing! Nor are references to critically acclaimed movies sprinkled where they don't belong!
Here's (EDF) looking at you mate.

I have been in [EDF] for about a month now.
Before i joined i was just running around scrapping up isk from NPC hunting. However, when i joined that all changed, in my first week i was flying on Operations with EDF as a tackler pilot. Since then i have been on mining Ops, and have been able to learn so many new skills through the guys at EDF. With a trustworthy chain of command and lods of great people in the corp! EDF is definetly one of the best corps around.

Been a member of EDF for over a month, good group of guys
I'd recomend this corp to all, whether your new to the game or an experienced PVP player, you'll find a good home in EDF. Your allowed to do your own thing, contributing to the corp, not forced in any way, which keeps the game fun! as it's supposed to be

Itching to see 0.0 space? EDF can take you there!
Enjoy the odd PvP scrap? So do we!
Are you the laid back mining type? Hi-ho hi-ho it's off to work ...
Did you pull things to pieces when you were a kid? Come build real battleships, weapons and components with EDF!
What's that? You hate Sansha and those other belt pirates? Come on down! Our agents will lub you!
Seriously folks, EDF has a bit of everything and we do it darn well! We are especially looking for people in the South pacific region but heck, we don't care where you are from ... everyone fits in easily at EDF. There's stacks of support for anyone that needs/asks and we will look after you like no other corp. All we ask is a little bit of loyalty and dedication ... in return we will give all the assistance we can in helping you to further your career and reach your and our goals.
Sign up today ... you won't be sorry

Eve Defence Force started in October 2003 as a 2 man operation. We've steadly grown and where always traditionally Empire based but now the corp is split between Frontier Space (0.0) and Empire. There's been plenty of ups and downs but now we have over 150 active members accross all timezones. Some times are better represented than others. Our strongest represented are European and East Coast U.S./Canadian times but we really want more Central and Pacific times and most of all, South Pacific members.
We've just emerged from six months of almost continuous warfare and now we're getting back to our roots - Pirate Hunting. So we're sending teams on missions into Empire to take out the low sec living Pirates.
We have Agent Runers, Traders in Empire as well as Mining teams in both 0.0 and Empire. We have succesfully launched our own Academy that teaches survival training as well as specialised training and we're about to launch our first Starbase.
So these are exciting times for our corp.
We are very team based in our attitude and if you're not pulling your weight, you're warned before you're booted. We're mature but have ages that range from Teenagers to Middile Aged. We fight, mine, run missions, trade and rat hunt across a wide variety of areas and we're friendly.
So if you're interested in Mining or Hauling and getting paid for it, Trading with corp funding and keeping a percentage of the profits or prehaps Agent Running with the guarantee of support whenever you need it, or Rat Hunting Domination Spawns and hitting high ranking complexes, or if you're a PvPer or simply someone who wants to do all of this and more. If you are, Eve Defence Force is a corp for you.

The 'Kid' giving orders in PvP situations could have 2 years plus PvP expereince under his belt where as the 'Adult' could be wholly immature and do nothing but smack talk over local.
Maturity and Age, sadly do not go hand in hand.
I'll have someone convo you in game for a chat on what we can offer.

Eve Defence Academy re-opens this weekend. The programme covers basic survival training before moving onto combat tatics, group mining practices, Lab and Factory useage and much much more.
You'll be skilled through corp funding and will recieve a ship upon graduation.
Once you have graduated, it doesn't stop there. You will receive a Mentor who will continue to guide and advise you until you are comfortable with your role in Eve.
If you're interested then please mail one of the department heads (listed above) for more information or mail us at [email protected].

During a recent haulage contract, I was caught by a Pirate just inside 0.0 (where I was contracted to haul). Seeing my, shall we say, less than polite words over local , two of their pilots came and chased the fool off and even escorted me to my destination.
Good guys, friendly and deserving of this bump

Q1. Noob upwards - all you need to do is be able to fit a mining laser Q2. Split between Empire space and Frontier (0.0) - depends on your skills where you want to mine.
We don't dictate to you whether you mine in 0.0 or in Empire, that's for you to decide. You can either team up with the Empire miners or if you feel you've enough skills, come on down to 0.0 and mine there.

Hi John , am interested in EDF and am really looking for a well organised corp but i need to know few thing so lets start with me first , am a miner and have the following mining skills : Mining lvl5 , Astro lvl4 and Ice harvest lvl3 so i can mine ice and i fly med barge . Am +3 GMT but i spend like 4-5h a day online in different times through the day and am self sufficiant .
I want to know the following :
- Do the corp provide a protector(s) in spaces below .9 and hauler for the miner so the miner can concentrate on only mining ??
- As a successfull corp i expect that u have alot of enemies so u often in war so how EDF handls war ?? U know , miners , haulers , producer ..etc may not have enough combat skills to survive through large/long scale war so do u protect them and how ??
I hate when in war to keep an eye on local to make sure no enemy player jump in the same system and pod/kill me .
Other than that i have no problems . This is my alt so don't convo this charater .
Regards ,

Yes. We conduct mining operations in empire and 0.0. You can concentrate on your mining whilst others provide cover and hauling.

I can say that our mining operations are pretty much unaffected by war. It would not be prudent for me to go into any more detail than that in an open forum though.
Quote: I hate when in war to keep an eye on local to make sure no enemy player jump in the same system and pod/kill me .
Yes ... so do we. That's why we take steps to minimise the risk of that ever happening.
Convo me (Steelmattthius), Ageis or John in game if you have any more questions or would like to join us.

One of my Miners has brought to my attention that the figures I use in the example for mining payouts are wrong. Well that's what you get for having a PvPer try discuss mining
Anyway, I apologise but with the release of our new site nearing, I'm not updating it. Just be aware of it. Suffice to say, you will get paid for the ore at the amounts quoted. It's only the example figure that's wrong.

New player here and your corp sounds very interesting. I am not in the Pacific or South Pacific time zone though (Mountain time ~ Rocky Mountains). Just started a couple days ago via the trial but just signed on for a subscription today. Definitely interested in the corp and hope that the corp might feel the same of a new and upcoming pilot. Look forward to meeting/speaking with you.
