Hah. John. I heard from someone who's in EDF that EDF is so low on funds at the mo dat you don't even have money to do what yah say yah can do.
In other words, you can't buy 0re from players like y0u say you can do. Isn't this a bit harsh way to try to get new members? By lying?
So eve pleyrs: As far as I've heard at least I would not join atm.
I was planning on doing it after reading all those promises (even though they kind of sounded too good to be true), but then I contacted a few EDF members, who then told me how the situtation really is. Hah, so I'll just wait then.
But of course, I may be mistaking. I checked if John's last post was old. but it isn't. It is posted YESTERDAEE and I got that info from playerss just a few days ag

Ok just join the corp and let me know if you can sell ore to the corp. From what I hear they have about 2 billions in wallets. Nat gr8 funds I say. A corp, which include HUNDR3DS 0f members, and barely has money to buy 30 Decent BSes, I doubt they can just buy Ore from you that easily. But let ma know if you're dreams com true and tey do.
And John Creedy, if all u do is call that flaming, and coming with no answers.... at least tell me that I'm just nonsensing and say that you have more tan 2 billi9ns in cash matie. Hah. And spell out for me that you were not lying about be able to buy 0RE from members, at time you really couldn't because of low fundz.

Your opinion mate, but it's based on hearsay and posted by an alt. Which lends your opinion as much gravitas as an essex girl preaching abstinance. Please cut the hip "patois" posting style. It make my eyes bleed.
I flew with these guys in what I suspect was a dark and stressful time in their history. They weren't broke then and that was after 3 odd weeks of war with hardcore pvp players.I would be gobsmacked if they have any financial issues now.
Besides that, John is one kick arse fleet commander.

I was reading the above post's by "Cauchy" and I felt moved to reply. Cauchy, you sound more like a disgruntled corp member then a disinterested outsider. If you are a member and you dont like the corp then just quit.
Im a returning to eve player. I took a long break to do other things. Once I got reestablished i began looking for a corp to hang with. I wanted one that was large, active, had plans, had motivation. I took about a month just reading threads. And i kept coming back to the EDF thread. I liked what i read, liked the positiveness of it.
So i joined and so far its been real good. The corp is active, they have goals, the members work together. U cant ask for much more then that considering all things.

The Academy is now reopend for pilots in the South Pacific timezones (Australia, New Zeeland, Singapore for example). Meaning if you play from between Downtime and 3-4 p.m. Eve Time and you're new to Eve, then we will train you in your area of choice.
We'll skill you, train you, teach you survival techniques and start you on the way to a decent ship.

Ive been with EDF now for about a week and so far I am very pleased. They are a good group of people with clear goals and strong leadership. No matter what your niche is they have a place for you be it Pvper, Pver, Miner, Trader, Researcher, Builder, Explorer (bm maker).
Another thing I like so far is still seeing double digit corp members online even in the wee hours of the night when the server pop dips down below 3-4k. I would highly recommend them to any honorable player new or old.

Me and a fellow BF2 clanmate have been looking around for a good mature corporation to join, and fell upon your recruitment post. I am leaning towards more of a battleship/dreadnaught role in battle, and he leans more towards mining, however he still does fight. I will also be moving to Pacific time come late September, so I can fill in some of the power gap that you might have.
