FA has declared formal IGA war on ASCN.
It will be in effect 24 hours from now.
It's in ASCN's power to end this at anytime.
They know our conditions.

I feel slightly concerned for FA if they feel this war hungry, because a large portion of our alliance down in 0.0 has been engaging in target practice for the past several weeks and are getting tired of destroying and looting npcs.

So there you have it... FA declares a war because... We destroyed some of them? Nope. We are hostile to them? Nope. We threatened them? Nope. They want our space? They say nope.
Basically looks like "Neutrality isn't good enough, you take our side or we'll dec you." despite the fact that we have no interest in their war. Load of garbage if you asked me... but if you wanted a much rougher time of it... you just guaranteed it.

We're not the ones issuing a war dec here. Don't see any "ASCN will defend Stain posts" here... the only thing I saw was "NBSI in OUR space." As so artfully illustrated by SteelRat. The only thing I saw was we would not be forced into making any decisions by anyone outside our alliance. Our business is our business. You've decided to force the issue and be the aggressor here... so be it. Don't try an sugarcoat it by saying it's anything but your own aggression, and your expectation of someone else's alliance to do what YOU want. If you want a reason why FA was under siege for so long by so many people, I'd think it's directly proportional to this type of attitude.
Not that I mind having targets though... I'm gonna have some fun with this one.

LMAO. Your lack of ability to be on neutral terms with SE means that we get a war dec? Don't get me wrong, the war dec is welcome, and finally setting us to -10 is a fair conclussion to the oddball type of diplomacy you've been trying to ram down our throats.
But the 1 sided diplomacy thing just seems a bit lame IMO. It's not our probelm that you couldn't attack SE yourself. Not only that, but you actually took the initiative to war dec us Tornsoul. That goes a bit beyond "what would you guys do if we did X" scenarios.
The fact of the matter is we only had mutual travel rights with SE, and we hunted in their space for a time. If you felt threatened by that, then it's not our problem, it's yours.
You should have at least tried to not straight out "attack" us though, as an alternative to a peaceful co-existence, but you made that call, not us.

This isn't meant as a bash against SE... we all know they aren't the pvp force they used to be. But what kind of wierd logic thinks it's a good idea that you chase a small group of hostile pvper's (SE possibly running into ASCN space) into a large bored now hostile group of pvper's? And on top of that... encite the large previously neutral group of pvper's to attack YOUR space? If you think this war dec is gonna make us change our minds and give you what you want, think again... what it means is you now have quite possibly a larger hostile force that will actively hunt you and disrupt the original war you wanted an easier time with. Your logic seems a little flawed to me.

I agree, BUT, I did my homework lastnight and revisited that chat log ;)
What I said was, if SE continually retreats to our space, then we will close it down completely OR we would open it up to all involved parties.
We will not (did not want to) become involved, and we told you that. Those policies were always up to last minute changes, but that is how we work. We dont have our static "FA diplomacy manual".
So again, that was our policy that we presented at the time of our last convo. If SE retreating to our space was such an issue, you should have come to us and brought the fraps. As it is, I have ZERO recorded incidents of SE ever "retreating" from a combat environment into our space.
Anyways, it's a moot point. The guns can talk now, it's cool.
