AI was a great movie, just a very deep movie, just because a movie is thought provoking doesn't mean its bad.
My vote goes to starship troopers 2

Edited by: Hells Bliss on 23/06/2005 07:14:16 okay, so bad movies...here's a couple
Dungeons & Dragons (2000) Rollerball (2002) The Grudge (2004)
And the worst movie i've seen to date has to go to, of course FearDotCom (2002)
forgot to mention, that starwars 3:revenge of the sith BLEW!!!!!!! only movie i've ever walked out on. i guess it was more of a let down than a bad movie though *shrugs*

Oh, having seen craploads of films during my studies in Aberdeen, I happen to see 99% of the stated films in here. Yes, most of the stated ones are bad, but they are only in the "it sucks" category compared to the ultimate crap of all time:
One day I found a CD named Long time dead that had some skulls drawn on it. I saw "wtf, this must be interesting". ...It was NOT
Also, 28 days was amusingly stupid, in such extent, that is the ONLY movie that I have stopped watching because we all got ****ed at how bad the movie was But still, not as bad as "long time dead".

Originally by: Etumretniw I would have to say Battle royale. It was a pretty cool idea, but the movie was just ridiculous. Especially the end. Thats what finally made me completely make up my mind: This was the worst movie ever. 2 hours of my life I'm never getting back... :)
I ahve to agree LOL

Hoooooo.. I liked Wing Commander, but mostly for the special effects and the background story.. its a shame the actors sucked balls.
Starship Troopers 2 was absolute crap. Only movie to date that had aliens, killing, blonde chicks, big guns and gore that I've not been able to watch fifteen minutes of.
And then theres the absolute king of ****ty sci-fi movies:
BATTLEFIELD EARTH
That one is so bad, that it reaches the point of absolute comedy if you keep watching it over and over. My friends and I have this running joke about another friend who spent the entire time at the movies playing Snake on his cell phone, and sleeping in his seat instead of watching the movie.
Now we threaten him with Battlefield Earth whenever he steps out of line. _____________________________________ Perpetually driven, your end is our beginning. "Can I be a consultant for EVE II?" - WhiteDwarf |

That bloody god-awful remake of Get Carter. WTF were they thinking to remake it in the first place, let alone change the setting from England to the US?
Sylvester Stallone needs shooting for that one. Straight to TV in the UK FTW

I can see the beginning of a trend here...
Hollywood remakes an old Michael Caine film (Get Carter), relocating it to the US and ruining it in the process.
Hollywood remakes an old Michael Caine film (The Italian Job), relocating it to the US and ruining it in the process.
I shudder to think what would happen if the ever decide to remake Zulu...

Prolly not the same movie, but they'd set it in the roaring 90's, in 'tha hood', cast Samuel L. Jackson as Shaka.

With such a good cast the movie should have been great!

Independence Day - lightyears away from any logic. The Grinch - i could stand it for about 5 minutes then drove back to video store to give it back. Any Jean Claude van Damme, Steven Seagal or Dolph Lundgren movies - terrible waste of celluloid. SW Episode 1 - I'd love to pod Jarjar 1000+ times a day.
