Both Battlefield Earth and Starship Troopers II sucked beyond comprehension, especially BE. Eye of the Beholder wasn't much better.
I liked both Butterfly Effect and Battle Royale.
Meh, each to their own.
I'm just typing now and looking at the 'characters left' counter below my window change, hehe.

There are bad movies and camp movies. Battlefield Earth isn't bad, its just awefully camp. Its a sort of modernized version of Plan 9 From Outer Space.
Truely goddamn aweful movies -

See there are bad movies and there are good bad movies. The old Godzilla movies are bad but in a good way. Plan 9 From OuterSpace is a good bad movie. But the all time best one that is so hard to watch but you just have to because how bad it is...
Death Race 3000
When running over pedestrians was cool before computer/console games. And you got points too!!!11 A movie, Sly I'm sure wishs would get burned up in a fire.

Originally by: Etumretniw I would have to say Battle royale. It was a pretty cool idea, but the movie was just ridiculous. Especially the end. Thats what finally made me completely make up my mind: This was the worst movie ever. 2 hours of my life I'm never getting back... :)
I thought the movie was a semi-decent adaptation of the book. Granted I've only read the English translation, so maybe theres a lot I'm missing. The book was much better though, I'll give you that Wish I could read it in its original language...

Wing Commander was bad. Not the worst, but close. Matrix: Revolutions is high up there, though the squiddies/mech soldier battle keeps it out of the absolute worst category. Street Fighter: The Movie was crap, but Raul Julia makes any scene he's in.
I'd have to say the worst movie I've ever seen was Super Mario Bros. Total, utter crap. It's the kind of movie the Mystery Science Theater crew could watch and be completely dumbfounded on how to make it look any dumber.

Starship Troopers 2, worst movie ever, and i even liked the first one
or maybe Frankenfish well, it wassent that bad the first 30 min but after that it felt as if the director just gave up and started to try to kill people randomly to get done with it
err, there are some more of those pretty crappy ones, but starshiptroopers2 takes the prize
i saw another pretty crappy one in school ones, it was about this 80yere old guy who lived in the forest alone and you got to follow him as he got water from the well, made coffe, watching the klock etc it was horrible can't remeber the name though

Oh yes, how could I forget the wrongness that is Torque?
One of the end scenes had two biker chicks fighting each other while riding their motorbikes... Literally using the bikes as platforms from which to deliver an array of kicks and punches

"Altered States" an SF movie from 1979 about sensory deprivation and regression therapy (this was fiction by the way) leading to the main character becoming a swirling mass of cosmic energy and being pulled back to humanity by the power of his wife's love.
Even the description is enough to make most people puke.

Alienator. Nothing, nothing, nothing in the world carries with it the same putrescent stench emitted by this film through every atom of celluloid.
The villain is played by what can only be a female WWF wrestler with a huge piece of drain pipe welded to one arm, firing bolts of radioactive mucous which alternately set things on fire or disintegrate them outright, and dressed in a get-up that would make you splatter your pants laughing were it not for the fact she can kill you with the radioactive mucous. The good guy is played by Jan-Michael Vincent of Airwolf fame, who displays great aptitude for frantically shouting things in fluent gibberish, bumping into the camera, and generally being the worst actor in the metaverse.
This movie's just bad on a whole new level. It makes Batman & Robin look like Star Wars. |

I'd have to agree, although it's certainly not THE worst. But then, I never liked the books much either...
Independance Day, Pearl Harbor, Armegeddon, that sort of crap, REALLY makes me cringe. Ugh, now you just made me think about them! *shudders* ---------------- Haha, stupid monkey! Now I'VE got the Oscar! Enjoy your worthless gun! |

I knew what was coming and didn't even waste my time with Coyote Ugly and Charlies Angels.
But what about Mission Impossible II? I felt violated leaving the cinema.

the Italian job remake. as a film, not quite the worst one ever, thanks to the queen's messanger and the bourne identity. but as a remake? the only thing it had in common with the previous version is the name. ----------------------------------------------

in no particular order:
- Willow - this is supposedly cult 80's movie but it sucks. The main char midget guy is so damn annoying, not because he is "short people" but cos he sucks.
- Equilibrium - Sheesh.
- That movie about the dragons few years ago - damn that was crap, only cool scene was star wars theatre, so damn logical that ppl born in 70s would play star wars in that situation
- Matrix - ok first movie was kinda cool with kung-fu scenes and stuff, but the story wasnt really avantgarde at all, it was just 2 guys getting stoned and writing overhyped stuff. Second movie... jeez can it get any worse, only good thing in 2nd part is the shots of that Ducati, cool bike. Didn't even bother with 3rd part.
- new star wars - goes without saying. I have yet to see the last movie, but I kinda feel that I can spend 3 hours better doing nothing at all. I guess Ill just wait until proper dvdrip shows up on DC++.

I personally have a problem with supposedly great movies that are getting all the hype and like a sucker you buy a ticket, watch it (or try at least) and walk out of the cinema thinking "wtf was that crap? Is it me?"
Hype is generated by the hype-creating-budget-machine so it doesn't really mean it is a good movie, just sucks to discover it on your own. --

How in anyway was Revenge of the Sith a star trek ripoff? Apart from maybe the fact theyre both in space..
Scarface is a top notch classic
nah scarface is a rip off of pulp fiction
You really know nothing about movies do you?
Scarface 1983
Pulp Fiction 1994
Now if you can explain that I will be impressed!
being intentionally stupid and inflammitory I think.
