Some people didn't like it, fine.. but I did.
There is the voice volume control, why didn't they use it? it's almost lke you effectively took the voice out of the game. It sounds worse and with voice volume max and most of the others on low, I can barely hear it.
I really did enjoy the new voice, hell, I enjoyed it quite a bit. It changed the atmosphere of the game for me. I can't even tell if this new new one is the same as the old one. I definitely don't like it in the least bit though.

I personally really like the 'new' voice.
It is not slow, it has an electronic feel to it. To me, the new voice is as it should always have been.

He is whining about others not willing to turn the volume down. So if he doesn't like the voice as it is not, how about using the volume control ... to turn it down!

Wow, people are so quick to flame.. it's hard to post anything on these forums. It's funny when people make mistakes or misread posts though then continue to flame the hell out of you because it's the "in thing" to do.

Let me spell it out for you. I liked the old voice from before the patch, your solution is to turn the volume down. You don't like the current voice, my solution following your logic, is ... turn the volume down.

So what's the difference?
Before we had someone saying something when was about to sleep
Now we have someone saying something while in deep sleep
Not even synthesized voice would make it change for more dynamic, fast and even less annoying or irritating.
Luckily it can be turned off.
The voice is lovely to hear one time or two but not when it repeats many times (Hum!?! Now I know why its a women's voice! - To repeat same thing times over!).

Then gets join and ask CCP for the following:
CCP stick an option to select which voice a player wants to hear!
option 1) no voice
option 2) the female voice that always existed before this change
option 3) the new female voice at normal volume level.
option 4) the male voice (yeah! coz are some women out there that also would like to dock!)

i had never played with the sound on but, when everyone said that the voice was changed i had forgot that there was a voice :). Well then i turned it on and i was like WOW but now i laugh everytime i listen to it because i ddnt know that the brits were really bad druggies! ;)

No, the problem is that whining has destroyed another aspect of EVE. In typical a CCP move, instead of giving a damn option to control the voice, they went ahead and made the problem WORSE.

There should be a male voice too, just to keep the laydeez and people of the non-hetero persuasion happy(difficult to think of a term that won't be zapped by the fascism filter, heh. )

This sucks. The new voice was like sexual chocolate whispering in my ear now i cant even hear the damm thing without turning speaker volume to max and even then it sounds like she has got a megathron stuck in her throat. Put it back the way it was a couple days ago please.

They really should consider adding race-specific voices. The Caldari could be a drill sergeant type, the Amarr a digitized priest giving sermons on system operations. The Gallente voice should, of course, be a lisping prancy parade boy, and maybe the Minmatar could be voiced by a rasta wailing on some bongos.
