the suncrusher (if i remember the name right) from the Jedi acadmy series of books. Indestructable armour, fast, nippy, plenty of lasers and best of all a torpedo which causes a super nova.

Ya know...I would settle for almost any of the ships in eve if i could just customise the color scheme...maybe slap a corp logo or a 'betty' like they had on the 1940's bombers on the side...ya know....something to give it a bit of personality. Other then that....a battleship sized version of a Manticore

Why the Nostalgia for Infinity of course. A ship from the space trilogy of Alastair Reynolds. Good books, and a nice ship :)

More scientifically justified than most things in sci-fi :)

Ok I would like to add to my last posts some more "Style" and "charm" oriented ships:

The Thunder Road from the movie Explorers (the armor and hull would be like 1 HP a piece as the ship is made out of a Tilt a whirl, a garbage can, some plywood and 2x4's, and a TV screen... but the shield would be 99999HP with a 99% rating Vs all, cept maybe lasers? LOL). As a side bonus it would have no inertia, and thus could have pretty much infinate agility ;) As a drawback it's powered by a 12V battery, and no capacitor, and has a tendancy to wisk you off/Jump to where imature alien children watch too much TV and speak mostly in lines from old movies. So in short, it means no real EVE quality weaponry, or even mining lasers, and occasionaly randomly warps you to some wierd place.

The Alien ship from "Flight of the Navigator" That would be a pretty ship too. Not very dangerous, but fast, sleek, and able to go back in time.

Eh, giant intersteller warships are nice, especaily Dahak from "Emipre From the Ashes", which ship wise i would take, with its hyper beams, and hyper missles, 350 80k ton BS's a bridge thats 1km in diameter, and the captains quaters are a 30km in diameter park deck with a masion, a cool self aware AI, and 300k crew. Not to mention it would pwn/gank the Death Star since every one of its weapons is a technical doomsday device, and can move at a speed of 60% light speed with a reactionless gravitonic drive and turn on a dime. . . Other than that this isnt a ship, but i would kill for a Wing Zero Custom from Gundam Wing endless waltz, wtfpwned everything elseVery Happy

Shivan juggernaut from freespace 2
-can carry an entire fleet
-4 massive particle beams that can rip through pretty much anything
-50 other small and medium turrets for defense
-the ability to destroy stars.

Thank god, I'm not the only Freespace 2 fan here.

But, I gotta say. The GTVA Colossus, muhahahahah.
