Hi,
I really don't post often in here, but i was really ashamed by a lame tactic consisting in : - Making an alt spy going in another corporation - Having this alt getting POS access, then making him turning the POS offline, allowing you fleet to rob all BS/Ship/Modules - Even worse, placing a new POS at the same place, in order to kill any pilot that logged off at POS, when he log in.
Before, i had quite a sort of repect for nive PvP tactic, and ability to use ships correctly. Now i have no respect anymore for all BoB players. This include : Evol , Rkk, ...
If ever EvE community could blame such lame behavior ...
Ciao
Quellious - Colsup - FA.
Note : You can consider this post as my own or corp or alliance point of view, i don't really mind. I'm just only concerned by such stupid acts.

CCP has already given their opinion on this. Corp thievery is something that is acceptable, including betrayal. It's all about trusting and putting your corp mates through rules and regulations before granting them a ton of access. Multiple security checks can be made (such as requesting a screenshot of the character selection screen to check for alts) to help prevent this.
Even works for RP. The corp already hating you hires a mercenary rookie (everyone has a price, right?) to inflitrate your PoS.
Check, check, check, and learn what to not trust. ------------

Please transfer 25m(*) to Tornsol or suffer the consequences(**). That would be all.
* could be more by now ** no idea what consequences, you probably lose hangar rights or whatever.

Nice moon, we've taken it.
Possibly the best idea we've ever had, enjoy sitting logged off and / or getting ganked when u log back on.

That's actually pretty funny.
Well, not the alt part turning the POS off, but the puting their own POS in its place.
I deduct that this thread will get locked either late page 2 or early page 3.

So the enemy managed to sneak a spy into your castle and lower the drawbridge? Quite an old tactic, that.

I heard the alt was a member for 3 days or so when you gave him access, great security you have there so suit yourselves. Nice work on infiltrating that corp, BoB :)

I thought BoB was better than this. I really did!
No, this is not a clever piece game manipulation, this is just BoB-inspired corp theft. One can only hope that similar acts of betrayal lie in store for BoB itself. As you sow, so shall you reap.
When your time comes, and you too decline into obscurity, all that will be left of you will be the vague memory that you were a motley bunch of disreputable, dishonerable thieves and scoundrels.
Congratulations on your marvelous achievement.

I am sure if you search the forums on posts from GNW era that you'll find a lot of "covert ops" done by BoB vs PA. It is a part of the war, and how BOB plays. The fact that this happened tells us at least 2 things:
a) you haven't done your homework when the war vs bob started. b) the director that granted access is thick as a brick.
oh and btw, everybody tries to use spies in wars, its just that some are good at it, and some are not

We don't care what you think. We play to win, we made it very clear before we even embarked on this operation the kind of tactics that we would be employing - if people can't deal with that, that's their problem.
As for it happening to us? I look forward to that day, because if someone can rip me off and rob us of the assets we have then I shall shaken his hand and buy him a drink, for he will of had to work DAMN hard for it.

That has to be close to or over a billion isk that you lost today. I have to commend you on your cool disposition if the roles were reversed I know I wouldn't be as cool. It wouldn't surprise if you had granted everyone in your corp. that kind of access to the POS. You can call it a lame tactic but what I bet your really ticked about is the fact that you hadn't thought or achieved it first and that it wasn't a Dread that took it out but your own inadequate security measures.

PvP skill?

This is PvP. Hell, strip mining a belt is PvP, because you're competing against other miners to sell your goods.
Only 1% of PvP actually involves guns. The rest is hunting, spying, sabotage, and propaganda. --
