What is your AVERAGE day's income on whatever you do? And how many hours do you play a day in order to reach that? Now, no "best" days or "best" hour since we all know everyone likes to hype up their time when they get some rare item and they call that their "average" day.
And also, what business are you in in general, like mining, trading, manufacturing, escrow, scamming, ratting, etc..
I do about 50mil/day trading/manu/escrow but relatively new.. but i thnk with 3 accounts and 9 characters and skills maxed out on trading, i can do maybe more. I wonder what the standard is..

I have 3 characters also, who mainly like killing stuff. My average income is probably around the 3 -5 mil per day for 5 or 6 hours playtime...
I need to do better from the sounds of it :)

Well, for me it's hard to track, as I have lots of days where I'm completely unproductive and just running around visiting people and such things.
But when I go out and actually do something it nets out at at least 1M/hour easily. And it doesn't even need too much for that: I did that much with a lvl 1 Q12 Security Agent in low sec in a pretty low equipped frig. Load up a kestrel with bloodclaws and you're set for a while.
Mining Veldspar gets you even more already, especially with mining crusiers (Osprey, Scythe) it should be possible doing the double there...

Edited by: Lorzon on 01/09/2005 14:18:54 Quite obviously I will the most weak and pathetic, after 3 months of playing, I make about 1mil per session. A session for me is anywhere from 3-5 hours.
One thing that eludes me is how some of you can launch to space and have made 30 mil in an hour. I don't hate the Betas and Lifers for being more experienced. I dislike them for being arrogant buggers who thump you if you don't play into their little ego trip. |

Some'at wrong. that's for sure.
An Apoc mining in hi-sec space can pull in 2 mil an hour mining scordite. Double that if you don't mind the occasional rat and can find some omber or kernite. Not the most exciting occupation but it's easy money. -- (Battle hardened miner)

I dont figure it daily, but weekly my passive income is 200 million. That is income that does not require me to play more than 5-10 minutes per day.
If I activily play, I make around 8 million per hour.

Not everybody plays to maximise ISK all the time...

I'd be more brave if I thought I could replace my losses easier. I typically fly a Celestis and it would take me a week of playing to replace the Celesits. Yes it's insured, but I don't buy a ship unless i can replace it which means i gotta have twice the purchase price. I don't hate the Betas and Lifers for being more experienced. I have no set income ive been 2 weeks and not even made 4k from killing a frig rat, other days i will kill sum1 nice and either get 2-20 mil for their pod or 3-50 mil for their ship some times a bonus of loot from destroyed ships.... sadly ive only had about 5 mil in my wallet for the past 2 months though :/ so its not reliable at all lol

Generally, I make zero per day. I tend to spend most of my online time pvping or spending money on new toys to go pvping in.
I go and carebear it up a bit every couple of months when I'm running low on cash, spend a couple of days making a quick billion. Not sure what the hourly rate is, whatever mining 95 crokite/minute is worth. I just keep at it until I have a nice little pile of zydrine then I go back to buying shiny toys to go pvping again.

FYI:
the OP started this thread after he had been shrugged off in the Help Channel following his claim that he made, what was it again, one billion a day, or 100 million an hour with multiple accounts in a somewhat automated fashion.
Make of that what you will. I'll consider it irrelevant auto-stroking and cause for curiosity in some quarters.

haha, no one said i made 1 bil. I said I would make 1 bil in the future. I also didn't want to sound arrogant in here since I wouldn't get the "normal" players to reply back making this poll an uneven one. Try not to put words in other people's mouths. It makes you much less crediable and don't hate because you can't figure out how to make money.

As a general comment I'd agree with you but that poster is specifically asking about personal income and that suggests that they consider Isk acquisition to be important. If a three month old char interesting in maximising income can only earn 300k an hour then something is wrong. -- (Battle hardened miner)

Yar good point...It just hit one of my jitter buttons
But to TBH the OPs ltr comments look like its going to make teh thread delve into ISK grinder fleme fest...
My income is highly varible

Right. Future tense. My mistake, must've gone scrolling by a wee bit too fast for my old eyes. Here's the log, with other people's comments largely edited out for clarity:

[ 2005.09.01 13:17:40 ] KrAyZiEz > i got the numbers here [ 2005.09.01 13:17:42 ] KrAyZiEz > they dont lie [ 2005.09.01 13:17:47 ] KrAyZiEz > i'm doing about 100mil a day now [ 2005.09.01 13:17:48 ] JP Beauregard > Yes, that's a remarkable career [ 2005.09.01 13:18:01 ] KrAyZiEz > 100mil
It's still irrelevant auto-stroking.
And if you are concerned about my financial well-being: don't be. Really. I gave away 3.5b in cash, a fleet and a half in fully fitted ships, hundreds of millions of ISK in Tech II components, a sizeable bp collection and several containers full of modules last March - because I simply didn't need them.

Hourly when hunting, prolly bout 8-9m, more in the complexs. Mining high end our corp pays 5-15m/per hour. Selling stuff is a pain, but if you got the right stuff ie bpo's your hooked. Being smart about logistically moving needed materials in many forms and knowing buying/selling tactics and making deals can get you VERY rich..

Then you won't mind sending me 50 million ISK for no reason other then to act Eccentrically rich? Oh yeah, I make about 5-10 mil a day. It really depends on how early I wake up and whether I get nice drops.

Depends on if I'm on contract or not.
Off contract: not enough to be posting, really. On contract: about a battleship every third day. A cruiser and a frigate (often T2) every other day (most often tier 3). Now and then I get the occasional pod, too. --
