You've been told 3 times now.
You need freighter 1 to FLY a Freighter. If you have Freighter 1, you can continue to fly your freighter after the change.
ASC 5 will not be needed to FLY a freighter after the change, only to STATRT THE SKILL of Freighter 1
Since you already have the skill, you will not be affected. It will only be an issue for you if you somehow managed to lose your freighter skill and needed to re-inject it.
PS However ASC improves your freighter's time to warp; I advise training it up anyway.

Seriously learn 2 play EVE.
The only skills you need to FLY A SHIP ARE THE TOP LEVEL SKILLS IN EACH TREE. YOU DO NOT NEED THE PREREQUISITE SKILLS TO FLY THE SHIP.
As stated ad nauseum, those remain the same.
What is changing is the required skills to TRAIN those skills, if you ALREADY HAVE THE SKILL INJECTED OR TRAINED IT MAKES NO DIFFERENCE.

First train reading comprehension to lvl 4 then re-read the 8-10 post that say yes you will be able to fly your freighter. |

And you flew uphill both ways in the snow to space school, and when you were done you went down to the market and worked hard for 5 isk and you were thankful. |
