It is only natural for people to gang togather for mutual protection. This is actually the dev's fault for letting it happen the way it has. They had 4 empires in place, and this is what really should have been the 'segregation line' but with ZERO content and ZERO roleplay, people made their own content. Instead of using race, they used the regions to seperate themselves, forced also by the movemnt of bistot into outer regions. It's only a matter of time before a number of corps take each and every valuable region and claim it as their own with the universal language of force.

Its hard to figure out what is going on. I was there today. Some people were being allowed to move around, even dock and undock from the stations that were blockaded. This behavior is not consistent with a pirate type corp. Evolution has always been very tight lipped, and I personally adjusted their faction down a while back just on an instinctive heebee jeebee feeling after seeing some neg sec members so I would know when they were around. If they wanted to control the area they could easily ahve podded anyone going in and out of the station, but they didn't. They chose not to pod me, and I was new to the system and certainly not on their "safe list". A "safe list" was mentioned, and it was also said that "Fountain is not safe".
Perhaps they were merely hired by local forces to drive out some of the people living there. One thing that seems pretty certain is that Evolution is heading for a large scale problem. I have seen other very large and powerful organizations gain control of whole servers in other games, and they became careless about how many poeple they angered. Every time I have seen super powerful organizations begin to bully carelessly they get killed. Evolution seems like it may be headed down that road. Perhaps they should consider paying attention to public opinion and explain themselves.
Once again no one is sure what Evolution and co is up to... yet. But if this corp thinks its going to take over the fountain just becuse it thinks it can, my four battleships will be there to help prove otherwise, and I don't even live there. I really hope that something else is going on, but I fear this is a simple land grab. I hope I am wrong. Mabey Evolution are the heros and it just seems the other way. Either way I hope they start explaining themselves.

Would be nice to have a place free for all. many new corp have try to settle somewhere and the only place left seems to be foountain,(free of player killer) that is. if someone is trying to kick everyone out for just one corp to control all fountain, then u can try but i'm sure many current players there will not leave withough a fight. i haven't been out there much but it seens like a very nice place and many friendly bs. i will stand up for free usage of fountain and will fight for it to remain that way if i have to. i do not want to fight you .... but i 'll not be walk all over.

The thing is, it's not Evolution and Xanadu that are taking over or "securing" Fountain. Rather, they seem to be the enforcers for some other corporation(s) paying them to do it. As for who these corp(s) are, I'm figuring they'd have to be rich and require room to grow, so take your guesses from there.

Its pretty silly to see corps try to take ownership of entire regions. I mean gods, man start small with 2 or 3 systems or a consteliation but an entire region?
I mean after star bases, turrets and etc things go in then I can understand how a corp can lay ownership a system or area of space. Your base is there, your protecting your assets. Trying to do it by flying around a few BBs is kinda silly, if not overly greedy.
Hiring priates to do your dirty work while you go unamed is just plain cowardish and shameful.

I am pretty certain that the corporations who are now setting up in fountain are the same that have been there for a while and chased away m0o when they came visiting.
Last reports saying there are numerous corps on the military operation, but they are mostly telling people to leave the region, probably till their powerbase has been established and then hopefully they will relax their rule. Despite all this, I have heard no first hand accounts of ship or podkills tho I see on the map some has happened. |

I know that EVOLUTION is a PK'ing pirate corporation like m0o was. They pod newbie players in empire space and claim your a "war casualty". They are evil and murderous killers  !!!!!
I was podded by them for no reason and all I got was "our business is our own". Nice job robot-brains!

Just remember boys and girls if you wanna kill Evolution really good, just put on 2 thermal wards and 2 emp wards and they will only do around 5 damage per shot.
Each and everyone of them use LASERS. Unless it's changed in the last week.

My informant has given me a list of corporations involved in this, many on the list have not been seen in Fountain before and are now driving away corporations that have been there for a good while.

It was as I suspected, that many of the long time inhabitants that participated in the antim0o campaign are together on this one as well.
However I also miss a few corporations from that list, but all I can think of is how a number of corps fled fountain when m0o arrived and that this can be taken as an offence towards those who stood and fought m0o.

yeah, i believe cornexent is friendly. That also makes wonder if cornexent and homeworld are all not included in the alliance, what's going on there? haven't return to sp for several days, I have no clue about it... anyone recently there can tell me what's going on?

One of my corp m8s was warp scrambled and shot at by Xan and Evolution players in LQL earlier despite taking no hostile actions...
We spoke to Xan about this who said it was a 'mistake'.
It would be nice if Xan and Evolution are claiming Fountain for themselves that they make some kind of announcement and it is a bit of a grey area at the moment.
If I knew for sure that Fountain was out of limits then I would ask corp m8 to withdraw from there at the moment...
I think it is sad if all small/medium sized corps no longer have anywhere to go outside empire space because they have all been claimed by big corps.
If that happens the big corps sityting on all the best minerals will just get bigger and everyone else will stagnate!
Anyway - Evolution and Xanadu - can we have some kind of statement about your intentions please.

Cornextant seems too nice to be in on this, and HomeWorld Tech is against the closing of Fountain. Currently there are 85 pilots in local (and no, I do not have the chat bug atm). Trust me... the lag is unbearable. Gooooo PVP!
