Gurenus it's too late to back out now. Most corps just lost any respect they had left after Ron1n's last demands and I doubt too many corps will want to deal with you again.

From what i heard Ragnar was rather ****ed at this "joke" and so this suggests to me that it wasnt intended as a joke at all.
Personally i think its a couple of Corps smack talking then backing down and then making rather bad excuses to save face.

Huh? What? Eh?
Just what makes you think that many of us were going to take this as the oh so obvious joke that it was, apart from the ludicrous demands that were set out originally?
If this *is* a joke, then I think it's backfired on RUS more than just a little. Many players had a huge amount of respect for RUS (including myself), but I'm sure that many of us will just not know what to believe now

Look, it's obvious what has just happened because it has happened before.
Ron1n gets roaringly drunk, does something stupid and craps all over the forum making rediculous demands to cover up for it. Exactly how the RUS-SA conflict started.
However, Guernus and other "moderates" in RUS appear not to want another of Ron1n's stupid unwinnable wars and play it off as a joke.
Guernus may have saved RUS's stretched resources this time, but their reputation takes yet another hit...

I don't find this a very funny joke - nor did I take it as one. And from listenning to Ragnar I don't think he did either.
The joke was an attack none the same. It cost my corp money preparing for a potential fight and a logistic headache (estimate 15-20 million lost due to a pause in normal business activities).

Please pay attention to everything wriiten below!!!
Here are the main topics we would like to say to the comunity:
1. We wanted to bring a lit enjoiment to this forums.
2. We respect m0o for some sort of tendency of archivment of their purposes.
3. We even would like to have some of m0o members in our corporation, but their methods violate our chart.
4. After every coalision of m0o and RUS Corp space blows up from peals of shells.
5. Some of the rules of existing alliances are not acceptable by RUS Corp.
Now a bit more detailed:
RUS Corp. CAN fly anywhere in the galaxy of Eve. And do everething we need if this does not contradict moral norms. RUS Corp. categorically refuses to accept beloning of systems to corps or alliances. RUS Corp. NEVER open fire until damage was caused to their memebers or belonings.
We allways ignored and will contenue ignoring all Interdictions on flights at some systems. In other case this system will be filled with 10 battleships, which will be declaring their peacifull intentions.
I think that is not secret that RUS and m0o are one of the best in millitary maintenace.
I regret that so has left with this message, but you have to understand us, after a week of armistice between RUS and SA we went in search of m0o to strike them. But after 2 days of searches it became boring. It's boring in ths world and sometimes we have thoughts of universal shooting. m0o is very mobile and in present state if game it's impossible to catch anyone. There is no possibility to organize universe wide wors or participate in a story line. After the war some people form Stain received a lot of experiance in conducting wars. But yet not everyone knows what we can do. As an example: we give to the game 5 days and 2 days to corporation, so most of our time we pass ingame. We are created for this game and this game for us. And finaly we ****** to everything world is thinking about us.
From now on we won't prove our statment on this forum but only ingame at a battlefield. You allwayas can feel it on your shields and hulls. New alliance already ****ed off us and m0o.
And finaly RUS Corp. NEVER was a pirate corporation and never will be it. But if there will be an event with high protected convoy with a precios cargo, we would be the first to attack it and be sure we will destroy every one who'll stand on our way.This would be priced as competition for survival in world of EVE. We also adhere the rules of conducting game and the statment about our national dirnk we count offensive. You never drink such vodka.
