Hellmar just returned from London and while he was in the UK, he had an opportunity to check out E-ON before it goes off to the print shop. Needless to say, he was impressed with what he saw and decided to share his thoughts in his new Dev Blog.
He also left a hint about a new presentation coming out. Keep your eyes peeled for more information on a new trailer and video.

Hellmar also showed us the the new video whilst he was over in London and I just have to add that when it's released you simply have to d/l it.

i think it's liek the way i will look at it ...
if you are at work, puting ON the sound maybe it's not the far best idear ever .. so no sound, not the fault of the video of course ...

I have seen many many videos of Eve. I will say I have seen the bar moved way up.
I said many years ago that this game is what every sci fi has ever dream a game should be. There are no levels there are no timelines there is only one thing constant in Eve.

Put down everything before you start watching this trailer.
I was sat with a cup of coffee in my hand, and was that immersed with this trailer that I didn't realise I was spilling the coffee all over my leg and nuts till said body parts were already medium rare.
You guys SERIOUSLY need to start TV advertising with stuff like that... I've been playing eve for about a year and a half now, and that's still jaw dropping stuff
Seriously good job.
One question to Redundancy though, how do you guys capture the ships in flight etc? Is it through the conventional means of normal camera manipulation, or do you guys haxx0r the server and use your ebil dev powers...? the footage in there is awesome

Amazing, AMAZING video. It's gorgeous in its simplicity, and the camera cuts are just stunning. I think my two favorite parts are the ships and the map transitions.
Only one question: What were those huge blinky things with tentacles orbiting Yulai X? Drone mothers? Drone Dreadnoughts?

I think what amazed me the most about that trailer is how SIMPLE it was! No fancy effects, just absolutely stunning editing and use of captured material. A true inspiration and worthy of national attention.

Yup... these guys need to advertise on TV... players would swarm in tbh.
