I noticed that too. Where is the chick with the big gun?
Though then again, the Gallente part is put off a little by that freaky looking goon in the goggles. He reminds me of one of those Cave Fish bikers from the old lucasarts game Full Throttle. Anyone would think Gallente Prime was a toxic wasteland. ------

Nah, he's just one of many Gallente scientists making sure the toxification of Caldari Prime is going well, basically making sure our solid waste dumps are landing squarely on targets.

"I want more American players, I spend so much time with british people I'm starting to say things like "bloody hell". I almost called someone a chav the other day."
Blimey.
(more on topic yup, was a bit odd to see the Caldari guy alone there... oh well ¼¼;
music alone more than makes up for it \o/

Excellent video, particularly the XL version. Mind telling us what sort of graphics setup is being used?
One criticism .. would I get beaten with rolled-up copies of E-ON if I was to say I didnt really like the music? I thought that chick-on-horse-tranquilisers voice kind of jarred with the fast and furious sequence...

Absolutely the best EVE video i have ever seen, really amazing! I'm interested on the technical side of it too, in the video everything moves so smoothly. What graphic card was used, ATI/nVidia? Resolution? I have nVidia 6800gt but gameplay is far from that smoothness on the video, at least in 1600x1200 resolution. I understand that EVE runs better on ATI hardware, is this true?

OMG Awesome!
How anyone could watch that and not want to try Eve is beyond me
If you can't get that on TV you have to try and get it on some PC mag cover discs.
/me plans to put the eve client and that trailer on a few CD's and see if I can't get some more m8's playing Does my bum look big in this cape? |

No, they used the same model's for all tempest's on it :P The other was the tempest fleet issue.

I would like to know what those freky thing are floating in space with the wires sticking all over the place. They look like a rouge drone colony that has infested a megaveld roid.
Will these be the drifting hulks that show up randomly here and there and cause havoc? Or has that idea sailed away since then? ------

I am fairly sure that they are Jove Motherships (titans).
Not your average Amarrian Loyalist....

Those "spikey things" above the planet at the start seem to give off discharges in a rogue-drone kind of way (OMG are they going to eat up the universe???!!!)
I'm still grinning from this awesome video, the editing and syncing with the music is fab - particularly when the Amarrian race cuts in.
Would love to know the machine specs used there too. I'm guessing that some kind of industrial graphics card is used.
Note to CCP: need more orbiting objects to explore, and need more ships - possibly available through markets unlocked by agents (sorry to be demanding).

I don't know, they don't look very Jove like. They look too scrappy and random like an infested roid. And those tentacles look like those on the drone parasite Domi.
Come on CCP, I'm slavering to know. Between this, E-ON and the new Mk 2 ships you owe me a new keyboard. ------

There are some special camera options that you don't normally have access to. Iirc, they were a little experimental and allow you to confuse the hell out of yourself if you don't know what you're doing, which is why they weren't made available.
