Can a GM specify if these were 100 accounts owned by seperate people, or just a few people with a ton of accounts?

I welcome this for 2 reasons:
1. Macroing is bad
2. It will hopefully result in fewer "omgwtf! ccp is doing nothing about macro miners!!!oneone" threads which keep appearing in general discussion about 5 times a day which i am getting rather sick of. |

Get caught macro-mining should = death penalty - no second chances.
OR
Make them join a player corp and don't let them undock till they do. Make their names public and they'll have so many war decs they'll never undock again anyways.
Apostles of Insanity is growing again.
Check us out!

Nice one!
Wonder if that included the 16 "ming" accounts that were in Lustrevik earlier - most of em disappeared rather suddenly

I would congratulate CCP for the bannings and even more importantly making the number so publically known. I've gotten frustrated in the past by a perceived lack of action in bannings but I would take the opportunity to salute CCP for their efforts in trying to stamp out this form of cheating.

At last, the Price of trit can raise over 3. (But not over 3.6, since you can make money by buying shuttles from NPC's and recycling them)

And a big thank you and congratulations to CCP for banning these macro miners trying to wreck Eve for their own benefit. They took their time, then uncloaked and gave them the back of their hand!
But while we're popping open the champagne, let's not forget about all the players who identified the macro miners, petitioned against them, and brought countless complaints against them. The player base did a good job uncovering the macro miners, and I'm sure it helped CCP in their wtfbanned! action.
Congratulations CCP, and congratulations fearless macro miner hunters of Eve!

"If we find that a player contesting his ban is only trying to bluff his way out of it, we will lengthen the ban. If it's your first offence, the ban will be doubled. If it's your second macroing conviction and you try to lie your way out of it, we will reward you with a permanent ban. "
Buh? Macro-miners are allowed to get away so long as its their first time?

2nd chance.. great...
still wont stop it from happening thou, personally dont see why its so hard to not work out whos a macro user automatically except for a few cases and auto ban or warn a gm to go look at the them.
and i still dont understand why its such a big deal for the player base as a whole, if they think somones macro mining, steal his ore. simple as.

I dont get it either, perma-ban for all of them ! They arent welcome in the community, they arent contributing to the game .. no one wants em here.
