I was just playing and chatting with a corpmate and suddenly i get disconnected. Ok i thought it's not the 1st time. Trying to relog and i get the message "The connection to the server was closed". This appers in TQ server status aswell. Is this just for me or did everyone get disconnected?

Not everyone is diconnected, you just can't reconnect. Try waiting a few minutes worked for me. CCP BEING LAME!

Bloody Hell wat has happend CCP i leave for 8 months and i come back 2 this.... (connection to the server was closed) shame shame shame... so much for your extended Downtime... i thought that was suppost 2 fix things!

We are under attack by a denail of service assult. CCP is the victem here.

Bumping.
Came back to a disconnected game and assumed my wireless connection hiccup'd again.
Client gets to "Preforming Pre-authentication Handshake" then drops with a "Connection Failed: the conncetion to the server was closed."
Connection is stable, without packet loss and average roundtrip time of 148ms (TTL of 239) |

oooo beleive me they will get banned, theyve ****** way too many people off with this...
Tho if theyve got any sense they will transfer theyre main chars to another account to bypass this, so it prolly wont make much difference if they do get banned or not.

yay oh great, i think this happens because of me. always when i am about to finish a skill the server goes down, i think i lost over 1 month training time in my eve being because of server issues, GREAT STUFF WHOOOOOP WHOOOOP

I keep hearing about something going on in Jita possibly. If anyone could let me know what happened, and if it has anything to do with the server being closed, I would appreciate it. Thank you.

Now I know what happened.
All I have to say is this...
4S, if you have a problem with the actions that the GM's have taken, take it up with them personally. By taking the course of action that you chose, you have made yourselves unwelcomed by the majority of the EVE Universe. What you have done is unacceptable, and I fully support those who wish the 4S banned.

One of the servers or nodes has crashed. You need to wait for CCP to reboot i guess. Also, this is very rare nowadays, i haven't seen it happen in 6 months to be honest (i play alot)

They hacked them ... when i had an account a few years ago someone did the same thing, attacked the server
