You do allow your isd people to put the blame for a server crash on 4s. I cannot see how they can be responsible for that server crash. The dev response looked like a network problem to me. Could you please get someone to verify it or get Eris to post an apology. That thread had almost 40k pageviews and I am not sure 4s deserved that.

oh hell who am I kidding, i really don't care what a corporation is named after, THE political correctness, and "ZOMG MY LIBERTIES ARE BEING INFRINGED" groups are both as bad and consistently annoying as each other.
CCP could change their minds another 4 or 5 times, and all it would do, would make me grin. Some people would disrupt the smooth running of a game for others just because a corp got their name changed for the sake of political correctness ? Now I just see that as flat out ridiculous.

If you have a problem with a moderator you are more than welcome to email [email protected] and we'll look into it. However, I would appreciate it if you didn't post about it on the forums. Mainly because it violates a forum rule and that means we would have to warn you, something I would like to avoid myself and I think you would like to avoid as well.

I saw on the 4s community forums earlier today that they were still in contact with the GM's. Glad to see that there was communication which of course most of us were not, and will never be privy to. Hell, alot of the information in this only the senior GM's and Dev's know about.

Intersting to see how this has developed and will continue to develop in the community as a whole and between various players and even intra alliance and corp.
Certainly been some good arguments and discussions put forward by both sides. While I was arguing I guess on the "for" side I actually came around to Don Zolas argument - at least partially. 
Now question is, has this done irrepirable damage to the community or is it accepted that it was a bad series of circumstances and screw ups from CCP and the community learns and moves on as a whole?

Well, atleast all this is over with now. I'd say I feel bad for the peopel that got banned for their actions last night, but I don't. Perhaps if/when they are able to return they'll be more patient...
Last night I actually wished Miz was still on his sprees. Could you imagine the fraps of him warping into jita, ready to kill n00bs, and finding a couple hundred shuttles/drones sitting there?

Even so, theres no way to tell if a source found on the web is reliable or not, unless its a official website or such. Regardless if how they serched the web, its obvious that it was either, a to small search, or found sources with "wrong" information, or a combination of both. The fact that the web is largly a "western" media has to be tacen into account. However, how ever you look at it, the search was faulty and now corrected.
Kudos for that though.

Yea, sorry, I probably took the joke a bit too far, happens sometimes.
