Due to the treachery perpetrated earlier today by G & IRON, who only a few short days ago we negotiated a deal with in good faith, ASCN SPACE is now a NOW FLY Zone.
ASCN members will engage anyone who enters ASCN territory.
We will try to avoid shooting "Blue" Allies that stray into ASCN Space, but no guarantees until the current situation is resolved.
I would also like to state for the record that I am done playing EvE as an ôhonorable & friendly personö. I would like to thank G & IRON for helping me finish my journey to the ôDark Sideö.

Whats the point of this? You gonna start shooting FIX and BOB in your space and declare it as their fault for not reading this statement? Or are you keeping G and IRON at blue fo the laughs?
Also there is the matter of Omist, where i see that Stain Empire has Sovereignity and Knights of the Crossroads ( sorry if that name is wrong, recalling from memory). Are you imposing a Siege on those?
But dont worry if you continue like this i doubt there will be many "Blues" left.

I forsee lots of friendly fire incidents precipitating bad times for ASCN. Although I understand the reasoning behind closing borders, it's rather like locking the stable door after the horse has bolted.

well dont forget about ascn and se, people think that its G & IRON only but SE and ASCN made deal and then SE made a deal with G/IRON and how did ascn give omist to SE when Omist was not ASCN's land

I beleive the point this was intended to make is that ASCN have been playing nice, and now we're done with it. No more agreements about leaving space before the fleet rolls out, no more random 'gentlemens agreements' based on so called mutual respect. G/IRON invaded ASCN space after making an agreement to leave esoteria and ASCN space within a certain timeframe. They didn't refuse the agreement, they took it and used it to fly in to our space and start shooting.
In short, if you're not one of us, and not our ally, we're going to shoot you, because we're ****ed off.

well from cyvoks post here he basically tells all allies to stay out and not to be surprised if they get shot at in ASCN territory.
Regarding to Red's and Neutrals,i am not sure how ASCN's poliy was but isnt it normal to shoot everything in your space thats not blue?

i my self wouldn't just shoot blue's, but if i see a big gang of them, in combat ships, beep beep.
you need to understand cyvok has been betrayed, anger can do that sometime, but guys we are trying to protect our space, and i dont think there is an alliance that has more naps with its nabours than ASCN, we even branded cyvok with the nickname Mr Nap.

Even though I have mighty doubts about who betrayed or misled whom in the first place, in this particular incident... what goes around, comes around. I do remember the betrayal of XETIC corps when ASCN was formed the way it did; it could have been done in a different way, but they have chosen, and now the wheel turns.
And thanks for acknowledging your long-time travel to the "dark side", I'm glad IRON/G helped to push your over the edge so you can't pretend to teeter on it anymore.

I don't post with alts. If you don't know me, it's really not my fault :) ask your CEO maybe?
As to forgetting, I do not forget betrayals, neither do I forgive them. And thanks to CCP, there are now "new worlds" in Eve. Your past deeds stick.
There are a lot of people I know and respect in ASCN, who never engaged in any betrayals, backstabbings and other political foul play. They have decided at some point that their future lies with this alliance - it's their free choice and I do not think worse of them because of that; it just means that we would possibly shoot one another in fleet battles or guerilla warfare when and if we land in opposing factions. But for some others, respect once lost is not as easy to get back as sec status.

Welcome aboard - I told you this a long time ago. In EVE you cannot rely on reputation and friendship, military strength is the only way you get what you want in this game (or by POS tower zerging).
I applaud the path you have set out for ASCN and hope you set things right down there.

What the post means is that being blue is no longer a guarantee that someone you have set as being friendly is necessarily going to be friendly to you.
Having settings changes centrally means that not everyone is caught so that just because someone seems blue you still need to be on guard for the time being while G/IRON/RAZOR fleets are roaming about.

It doesn't matter that most of ASCN doesn't know the history of what happened before. When you join a corp or alliance you get their enemies and allies with that corp tag. If I see an ASCN pilot I'm not going to wait and check how long he's been a member. I'm going to shoot. And as long as ASCN exists people will bring up how it was formed on the betrayal of Xetic. for better or worse that kind of history doesn't go away. Look at the forum postings you still see on CFS or The Great Northern War. People never forget.

First thing, "NOW FLY ZONE", what about a past or future fly zone ?
Second thing Cyvok, according to your forums you were planning to prevent any long term settlement of G/IRON in the south. It prooves you had back thoughts against them and were getting ready to attack them.
The "Dark Side" ? You've been on the dark side for a very long time, observing, taking notes and taking part to different and various "plans". You were just not the puppeteer ^^
Welcome on the Dark Side as puppet master Cyvok  I doubt of your success tho ;p
