Immensea was under heavy siege also by -5- but from memory it was largely lost from the onset. The bulk of the fighting occured in Feyt. This is obvious since CLS and DDC had most of the kills and ironically, MASS in the end, took your soft Omist. This is the main reason why ASCN decided to shed the dead weight. Had Xetic managed to hold a region after the split, even a single one or even put up a reasonable fight, since it still outnumbered -5-, I'd be a lot more understanding. The lazy claim betrayal...well, alot of people felt betrayed when thousands upon thousands of xetic members did nothing to help in the war. I should add that ASCN still had a war with MASS and friends after the split for Feyt which it won. Quote: What to do? Fuffel	Posted - 2005.11.22 14:33:00 - [123] its all fine and dandy and I even understand that it came as a "suprise" to most of the simple members in ASCN things not to do: - dont tell things like: "..we bring in our elite pvp`ers" in a meeting that is held in a friendly tone - dont make deals for SA+FIX if you havent even spoken to them - dont fly a 100 ships in front of our pilots, who are packing to leave - dont post MOD like "we will drive them out of the south" if the deal was about "them" leaving in peace - dont double date, if your not absolutly sure that you can handle both of appointments - dont act so surprised, if you bring nada of your side of the deal and it wont work out the way you planed it ( and please stop reminding us, that we should stick to our part). To put it simple: I agree that getting shot by "blue" guys is not nice, but f** around with a pvp force right in front of you might lead to strange behaviour. Your leaders acted a bit premature to declare our** war as over - on ASCN terms. We entered the talking in good faith, but tbh ASCN is nowhere a force to dictate us what to do and where to move. All your little ISKies cant buy a pleasant time for your carebSring ants in 0.0 at that time - prepare for the inevitable (and stop to argueing on the boards for heavens sake) - g

It sounds very much like the ASCN are getting just desserts. As far as stating that G/Iron have stabbed them in the back, it is my full belief that we are viewed as one of the most honorable alliances ingame. It sounds from this thread that there are many many many ex friends of the ASCN corps that have plenty of evidence that unlike us - ASCN are utterly untrustworthy (their leadership i mean). On a personal note, it is very sad that we now have blues (SE) in the south, it used to be open game south of HED - it it wasnt blue kill it, now theres SO many blues and so very FEW reds and neutrals. dam shame that is. Regarding the ascn pilots, indeed all the non 5 pilots that i have fought in the last few months. With few exceptions i have found my 'hostiles' to be very agreeable in local. rarely have i had s##t spouted endlessly (unlike most of 5 and bob). I dont really care what reason the powers that be have to invade a region, what i do know is that IRON is a force to be reckoned with. questions have been asked of us time and time again, and i rarely recall situations where we havent responded aggressivley, decisivly and victoriously. G - what can i say - these guys are simply described as technicians. they are german ffs. vorsprung duch technik and all that, the set ups they run are calcualated, tested, tested again, practiced and then used in battle. their coordiantion in application is trully a display of art. G complments Iron as we do it. we are brothers in arms and should we knock on ur door - - know that we will knock that door down if you do not respond fairly and with thought. I am a VERY proud member of an honorable alliance, that creates its own path that is yet to end in anything other than glory. This post is my personal opinion and does not reflect teh beliefs of teh management for whihc i am not part.
