Caldari nerfed AGAIN.

The drone ships dont need a mining bonus because they arent meant to be mining anyway. Raptor is right, it is a caldari nerf. Since when is a race who is all about liberation and entertainment mining? The caldari are the industrial race. DUH.

So naturly a battleship will outmine them. But if you put them up against a ship from their respective class, I think you will find the gap is a bit smaller. Without looking at t2, caldari, amarr, and minmattar only get 2 industrial ships. And of everyone except gallente industrials, none can perform near as well as gallente. So it is kind of suss that Gallente want to have battleships and combat ships that are balanced with the other races, while they sit there, far exceeding the industrial capacity that any other race can achieve. I call for the mk3,mk4,and mk5 badger to be released. Why?? Because gallente industrials are overpowered. Also, of course, minmattar and amarr deserve industrials the equivalent of gallente's powerfull itty V. You cant use transport or freighter ships as an argument. As for drones, I would LOVE to see a caldari drone ship be released. Just like I guess it would be fair for Duvolle Laboratories to steal a concept blueprint from Caldari State for a new missile ship, and enter it into the gallente market. While i agree that caldari need to hold their missile ***** status, and gallente their drone status, races should still be given some basic love here. Otherwise, why do amarr get a drone ship? If you're truely a Caldarian, you'd think about it like a Caldarian. Either use what ships work 'better', or make a deal with someone who uses a mining barge or a ship you think mines ore better than the caldari ships. Can't you think outside the box or act towards this in a mercantile fashion? Because of the small populace of the state, there's a lesser need to harvest ore, the caldari ships were created to suit this. Why buy 10 missile launchers when you only need 5? Think about this in a better perspective... or you can just whine like everyone else. Your choice, I guess.

I agree, and hate the fact that we dont have a single ship that can fill all of its high slots with turrets. I will be really dissapointed if our tier3 rail battleship has a high slot placement of anything other than a 7/2 , 8/2 , 8/1 , 8/0, but I can just feel that we are gonna get hit with either a stupid 6/4 or 6/2. Following this logic, we should then have: tier 2 barge is actually the "cruiser" of the Ore line up. The tier 1 is the "frigate" and the tier 3 is the "battleship". So naturly, a tier 3 barge will outdamage and outtank a cruiser . Oh wait, it's not like that. Your comparison makes no sense. Mining barges are specialized ships, and a tier 1 barge, considering it has nearly no defence, should perform as well or better than a battleship at mining, and tier 2 and tier 3 barges should perform better. Not that mining barges should be boosted, but the ability of some battleships to mine should not be that high. Or you should really boost the tank ability of barges, with the tanking gap between a tier 3 barge and a battleship being as small as the mining gap Quote: dont fly what you cant afford to lose, always have it insured, make sure you can replace it before you take it into 0.0 or any potentially kaboomish situations.

But you should know that before you train caladari has never been the best mining ships i think the idea has been that you use the good npcing and missioning ability to make your isk. If you dont like it just train basic amarr and use an apoc to mine.

Cruisers aren't mining ships, but take the Osprey. I think CCP should make a mining BS.. :D
