hi,
for some that might be a stupid question but i've heard that with the next expansion the expanded cargo hold II comes ingame, so my question is
what research do they need? i don't find any cargo hold or even nanofiber (hull upgrades) at any research agent

Lol, you won't find the BPO for Expanded I either. At least last I heard it hadn't been released. I'd say the chances of Expanded II BPO being released are less than zero. -- (Battle hardened miner)

Huh? There are tons of Expanded I BPOs, released through research agents. You can find the BPCs on escrow also.
Expanded IIs won't be in for a while I guess. - Proud member of the [23].

The stats on sisi say cargo II's give 29.5% and a -15% speed and -20% structure bonus. They sure as hell dont look like placeholders to me.

one thing is forsure, who ever gets the BPO for the cargo II¦s, will be a multi-billionaire a few days later
I so hate the lottery system, i have no words for it.

some lucky bugger is about to get very rich..... -20% sttructure though so what about if u fit 5 of them 0 HP on the hull ? could be interesting if u have no shield and armour lol
mmmm CCP could take the bull by the horns and not realise any BPOs but go instead by higher amounts of 5 run BPCs through research agents on a RP type lottery system. Would be a very very rare offer but a lot more players would get 5 runs to use or produce as they saw fit would produce price competition - otherwise i can see a 40-50m price tag at least on these things

Afaik mods dont add - they multiply - so result = structure*(0,8^5).

The best item you can loot from regular NPC's is expanded cargo holds, either local or parital hull.
If they released a T2 bpo of expanded, NPC'ing will suddenely become ALOT less attractive.
In fact, the lack of many T2 releases can be traced to the fact that the Named item market must stay healthy for ALOT of players to make money.

No they haven't. Tranq stats for the Expanded Cargo Hold II list a -15m/s to speed, not a -15%
With the current -m/s it would be possible to make certain cargo ships have a negative top speed. With the % based modifier, however that can't be done anymore.

T2 expanders could have a 100% speed reduction, it wouldn't matter because of lame instas. ------------------------------------
Quote: 1 Billion isk currently sells on ebay for about $225 90 day GTC $38.95 Currently selling for 300mill
Therefore 1Bill isk costs you $129.50. |

Yes. They're not actually in this version of EVE*, they're only in the DB.
* I've heard a rumor someone accidentally got a few once, but it doesn't matter if it's valid or not, they'd never use/sell them

The people that get that BPO are going to have a liecence to print isk. It will either sell for 10 billion within a couple hours, or some one will keep it and be able to make some 20 mill an hour by only keeping a factory running.
I think that this BPO will be the most sought after one in the game. And certainly among the most profitable.

you missunderstood..
i want to know which research the bpo needs.. not what the bpo is doing *g*
there is absolutely no info at the agent-info that tells any bp from the hull upgrades tree.. so did there come new agents or what?

ok so if youre facing a negative speed from fitting - um how is it going to work 0 m / sec ? or 1 m /sec if thats the case how are u going to move youre ship without instas.
CCP really need to have a look at this.Is it possible instead to go 5 m / sec reduction with a 2-5% reduction in hull HP ?

/me does the T2 dance and prays to Oveur that she is given a cargo expander 2 bpo.
I promiss, I will steal all the isk possible with it, the way TomB would like me to. I will make people whine all over the forums and have children cry over their never-bought lollipops because daddy flies a hauler

Research fields for BPO's are not known until the item is added to the lottery.
My guess would be Mechanical Engineering; which drops hull mods.
But may be multiple fields
