My assessment of this investment:
The ISS Borelis wont turnover as much as the Marginis. The reason why is because there are plenty of easily accesible NPC stations in Pure Blind. There is already a market there which player alliance corps and independent traders make good use of.
The Marginis does well because Catch region has no NPC stations so theres NO competition on the prices of goods. |

GL ISS.
CCP should thank ISS for having the balls and motivation to start this kind of "exodus" into 0.0.

I steal this quote. Because its good. And I like the fact that they are trying to get this universe to evolve beyond "ugh! got rock, go away or I use". In short, I like visions!

like some of my brethren (the non-chiken, sharper toothed variety) i feel that this is the way of the future for eve. perhaps this, more than any other venture, has the potential to advance eve beyond the feudal stage. I support this vision ^^

Congratulations and Good Luck, ISS. I think your outposts are fantastic ideas and I am pleased to hear that your first one is turning out to be a success.
ISS is easily stands above others as the one "civillian" organization truly shaping the future of Eve.
Furthermore, only in Eve are the players able to shape the game in such ways. This game is just great.

Then the Toga Party starts when some corp wants to get all Hostile Takeover on the area.

i like it but as i read it i still think... there are npc stations in the same region, why there?
If it had been in southern Dek (assuming deal could be worked out with IRON) or something like that so you would get people from PA, G, IRON, F-E, and the smaller alliances who would just hop right on over in a more central hub.
Anyway just seems a bit redundant and inefficient that people would pay to use a station where free ones are readily available, but only time will tell. --------------- RIP - Smoske, My Friend

Jericho Fraction wishes to congratulate the Interstellar Starbase Syndicate [ISS] both for its successful operation of Marginis Outpost to date and its launch of a new project to establish a similar facility, Borealis Outpost, in the Northern Outer Worlds.
We hereby express our wholehearted support for this visionary project and our hope that it will further develop the regions of the North for free trade and co-operation.
To affirm this support and our belief in the development of the Outer Worlds, Jericho Fraction will be investing a minimum of 2bn ISK in Borealis Outpost in order to establish an office for our corporation, the better to take part in this exciting vision of a truly neutral economic centre in the North.
The Cosmopolite On behalf of Jericho Fraction

I would have taken Fire. Fire is cool. I like fire.

I would not invest in an outpost built in G/IRON space. They have made them selves VERY unpopular with a few major pvp alliances. Anyone cooperating with them in any way, run the risk of becomming "collateral damage".

Excellent news! *hellacious amounts of respect for ISS*
You are all true leaders in Eve and very brave, mad props.
Is there any estimate on the number of shares that will remain for the general public to buy on the 24th? I am interested in purchasing some.

Fire makes things good. MMMmmm. Fire.
Erm. Yeah. Where was I. Oh. Outpost. Yeah.
Fantastic idea, Marganis is providing my corp with a useful ROI, share prices are climbing, and I'm still seeing a steady cashflow each month.
I'll certainly be investing in this one, although with carriers being recently released it looks like I still won't sc*****together the 'get office' sum.
