Look these chinese farmers are the plague of MMORPG games, they have made a buisness out of building very complex scripting macro's to play these game automated style, and run them out of internet cafe's 24/7. Due to the difference in economies they then sell in game currency on EBAY and thier own web sites to make very good income for themselves....
The problem is they care not for the game and they go absolutely overboard literally destroying the games but taking over a large part of the content ment for real players because they have these bots running 24/7 and do them en mass. Most of the time they bypass the client's graphics sytem so they can run many many copies from 1 computer.
Went to do some mining as a fairly new player returning and none of the systems ever have rocks left any more LIKE NEVER, always the same *****head named players working the places dry... I mean they are obviously chinese farmers ( one of thier tricks is to make retarded names like asdfsadgawefasdfvsa, because it is a pain in the arse to peittion such a goofy long name ).
Anyrate I am sure there are a few legit player from china on tranq ( cant be many though ) with the new chinese version of the game just transfer thier account to that server and ban chinese IP's etc. Should be done to perserve what you have currently built which is commendable.
These farmers are like*****roaches and they infest and destroy every stinking game out there, Lineage2 ruined by the farmer bots, EQ2 farmed to hell as well, WOW yup farmers galore.... Anarchy online.... Yup farmers ruining it there too And to be specific it is CHINESE farmers, Look I don;t blame the people for doing it, but sorry they ruin my gaming worlds in the process and I am sick of it. Lord knows they actually ban NA and Euro IP's from loggin into several asians MMO's should be something you can do to remove these pests....
They are already doing dmg and it will only get worse... BE warned CCP the inflation is beggining the lack of content for the playerbase is showing people will get frustrated with this crap and leave your game it is a serious problem... don;t loose your momentum, and let these roaches ruin your game.

while some are undoubedly from china you will probably find others are from different parts of asia, and im pretty sure there are at least a few farmers from eastern europe as well.

Macrominers are evil, yes.
However, I fear that banning Chinese IPs isn't enough to solve it any more than putting laws on the books was alone enough to stop the Mafia. These people are making real cash off of this crap, they'd probably just use proxy servers to get around the ban, and the ONLY people hurt would be the legitimate Chinese players.

heh... theres more macros in eve from europe then from china...
most of the sweatshops are in the poor balkan countries...

Generalisation!!!????? how many macro miners have you spoken to, all of the ones I have are from China, and I've spoken to a lot. If you don't like the facts, then go bury your over politically correct in the sand with the rest of the sit on the fence lot.

So I've got a better idea. Why don't we ban your IP from TQ? It would be exactly the same effect with the added bonus of not having to listen to stereotyping rubbish. The last time someone posted this crap I got a forum warning from my response. Stop making me angry.

The holocaust to which you speak was the killing of millions of HUMANS, these farmers are ruinign a gamiong experience, so show a little respect to the REAL tragedy please.

1. Not all farmers are from China
2. You can't move TQ chars to the new Chinese server otherwise I'd be on there with millions of isk/RP's/SP's and just pwn all.
3. If you ban one country, then the macroing continues (which it will), do you ban more countries? Where does it end?
Again, I'm from China. I'll let my true response be felt in game if you ever post with your main.

i think that we should make a macro miner's thread and name and shame everybody u think is macro mining but u would hav to remember that some people afk mine so u would hav to watch them very carefully and see what they are doing maybe try to convo them and make sure they are macro miners before saying it on the forums.
what do ya think?

The was an article a while back that stated that a lot of macro operators worked from the Phillipines and Indonesia as well. They will just keep moving their operations.

I think we're going to have to ban the majority of the third world if we want to stop the ISK farming. (Yes, I'm including China in that assessment. Sorry mate.)
Generalizations may not be pollitically correct, but when they have the numbers to back them up, they become stastically correct. It sucks if there's one 'real' player from China who gets caught as the collateral damage, but a very crazy man once said "One death is a tragedy. A million dead is a statistic."
I'm afraid to say I'd have to support banning every country who's primary contribution to EvE is macrominers and ISK farmers. It's that, or watch EvE fall into the same black hole that E&B did.

Out of 16 converstations with different macro groups...guess where they all came from ...that's right...you got it. And a few of those even tried to sell me isk after I blew up their barges... I mean wtf! I blow them up and they try to sell me isk.

Yes, I say ban them. I played lineage 2 and that game was ruined because of macro miner. Not because I knew someone was cheating by buying in-game currency, but because macro-miners would camp all the good places with all the good mob 24/7. Anyone who has played L2 know what I'm talking about.
I don't care anymore if you choose to buy ISK, but I hate to see macro-miners who directly affect my game-play.
I say ban the basterds from TQ for good, and so what if not all of them get banned forever. As long as we ruin their profits so they move to another game.

I know that many macro miners are from Asia, however, you cannot go and ban an entire country from the game, just because of the 1000 people who macroes. It's just not logic. And btw, I'll just quote Hippo, because he's right:
