Who in your Corp alliance or area of galaxy is an inspiration to you and others around you? Please limit your responce to 2 pilots. After one week I will do a tally and post results.
So many good leaders I have had the pleasure of flying with. It is hard to narrow it down to just 2.

Dianabolic.
This man is an extremely talented FC, and excels at guerilla tactics while outnumbered. He is also a great leader on the corp level, has a great sense of humor, and is very approachable. Much respect.

I've spent time in lots of different areas of the galaxy, players that have stood out for me over that time as inspirational leaders:
SA/CA
Duke Droklar Aeryn Sun Razzil TRIGGER Xirtma Thol
BoB/FA
No FA leaders have stood out for me form the stand point from which I play the game, well none that have not joined BoB that is.
BoB - So many good leaders (Molle, BL, Gal, Dian, Biz, Script, Stan)
Others honourable mentions:
Cmd Woodlouse Boldyn

Two people? Impossible. How about five? Yes, five is a much better number!
Eyeshadow - Picked up the FC hat from me a few months ago and said, "Hey, this is neat! I say people's names and they explode! More, please!" An awesome friend who keeps me sane but also pushes my buttons a lot.
Blacklight - Met him at FanFest. Amazingly approachable. There is arrogant and there is confident; this man defines the latter.
Dianabolic - One of the most well-rounded players in EVE. Can lead a fight or be in one equally well but his true value is in understanding industry / logistics and how they apply to warfare.
Zzzazt - I don't care if I spelled his name wrong. MLM is as tight a crew as I've seen outside of the MC mainly due to this man. He's a leader with vision for the game and one of the people I know will be here until the servers shut down.
Marko Debrault - Marko is one of the few FC's I glady step aside for. Very clear and confident on TS. Marko seems to play with ice water in his veins when commanding a fleet.
A few randoms:
Cyvok Chowdown Omber Zombie <---Evil! Freewheeling & the NAGA crew
Could go for a while still. Two? -

[30]
Edited by: KSUDruid on 06/01/2006 10:54:21 I thought I'd played this game with some greats. Then I met a couple guys, one named Molle and one named Dianabolic.
Get them in command of a fleet and they could say "OK Guys, Today we're taking on the Demons of Hell, and their Leader Satan. We'll be outnumbered 1000:1 and they have better ships, more damaging weapons and have been doing this for a few thousand millenia. But we're going in there anyway damnit, cause it's gonna be fun." And every single person will just go "Yessir"
They ooze the fanatical leadership abilities that I hope some day I can aspire too.
I know ya said two, but there a ton more I gotta mention:
Cyvok, the guy just makes you want to try and build an empire somewhere.
Seleene, Never had the pleasure of speaking with Seleene, but seeing what the MC do and how they do it, Obviously has the gift of command in some form.
Murphy, He doesn't run his mouth much, but everyone always listens to what he has to say, cause he's usually right.
Blacklight, Funnest, Gangs, Evar.
TWD, Someone the other day said TWD Doesn't sleep, he just recharges his batteries a few hours a day. After watching this guy do his thing I know why. 2 Words: Killing Machine.
Anyway, that's all I can think of atm.

from personal experience: Lord Zap - better than whisky for dutch courage Morning Maniac - utterly selfless, he deserves more recognition than he gets Tristan - complete nutter, managed to build a great corp which fell apart after he left Jade Constantine - Charisma Charisma Charisma Seleene - turned a small merc outfit into one of the most feared alliances in the game Zzazzt - without trying almost recruited me to MLM Freewheeling & Harokas & Elroy & Pallas - NAGA is a monster, and they are all so friendly
from non-personal, but evidence: Cyvok - largest corp in game, nuff said really HG/Istavaan - the ego has landed
sorry, couldn't keep it to 2

KSUDruid - The first person I ever heard on TS and thought "Now thats an EvE fleet commander", when I had about 2m sp. Araviel - Taught me that winning comes second to having fun, and if your having fun your more likely to win. Molle - No words for Molle, he's simply the best. Blacklight - Blacklight-led ops are like a party at the pub with killmails. Every FC in BoB - The results are public
I don't want the world, I just want your half. |

Blacklight - Always keeps everyone in check on TS, calm and always gets the desired results, even funnier when he has gang lead and passes out on a gate punch drunk, lots of respect here.
Dianabolic - The things this guy gets done when we are outnumbered (which is most times) are unreal, he gets us in and out of real tight spots with killmails not loss mails !!
SirMolle - Insane, gets things done, and demands respect when in command, when he says "stfu", TS falls silent even the other commanders keep quiet Regardless of the odds he gets us in there down and dirty and we come out on top 98% of the time !
TWD - The recent Caldari Championships gave some insight on TWD's considerable knowledge and tactics in EVE, he gets the job done nicely, and calls the right shots always.
DBP - If it were 10 of us vs 100 enemies, this guy would get stuck in, and get us results as well, I never fear when flying with DBP as hes always called primary anyways
Sorry, yes its all bob, well look who I am a part of, havent flown with any other FC.

There are very few ppl in this game with exceptional leadership/organizational skills, some of which are not even the CEO, but its ppl like that who make me want to play Eve everyday !!

I think the 2 leaders i have most respect for is
1) cyvok based purely on the amount of work he puts in to alliance and corp. The guy is a motivator and its rubs of on everyone and true leadership skills. Maybe not the best politician but cant be everything :)
2) Seleene - A good FC, a good ceo , a good allaince leader but think my respect goes for trying to create something ccp hasnt been able to do upto now create a working merc system. Even with such limiting help from game mechanics, i know there are many others mercs out their even before bdci and the mc.. but well Seleene with the help of some others took it the next level and imo made whats mercs are today, even made mercs respectable rather than the pirate/griefer image.

soooo... Greatest leaders...
Most suicidal: Cartiff ahhh Cartiff and his rifters... One of the very few people who can give you the will to fight to death. Oh and... Primary target !
Most charismatic leader: Jade Constantine I mean... without even the shadow of a doubt. Unbeaten. Free Jade !
Best Alliance leader: Cyvok A leader who takes care of his corporation's wishes. Kinda the spirit of CLS. Prolly one of the best corp ceo in eve. However, I'd say he's also a contrasted character capable from the best as well as from the very worse: sometimes a fine tactician but sometimes also prolly the worse diplomat eve has even seen. Well, nothing is either black or white
Most famous leader: Aeryn Sun The Stain Alliance fleet admiral that nobody has forgotten

From my experience (which admitedly is limited) 1)martinus Crimson - a close friend, so charasmatic on comms, sure pis5es off a lot of people. but he knows what he wants and he isnt afraid to reach out and take it. 2)marovinchen - shame he doesnt take charge more often, a lot like martinus, although not quite as aggressive, but moves people around just as good 3)Tomski Ruslav - seriously over the last few weeks Tomski has been a solid fleet commander for Contraband, and he keeps getting better and better. although he still dies as often

Combat Leader - Hmmm, I've flown under many a gread FC... (In no particular order) Aeryn Sun, Crohnx, KSU Druid, Waagaa... I do sometimes wish I could fly with the BoB FC's, the way their pilots talk about them is truly inspirational.

Most fun to fly under: Xirt. I've never seen anyvody get so full out emotional about "tiny things". Simply so much fun to listen to the cursing going on all the time.
Most effective: Deffinitly Christo. Calculating and deadly in fleets. this guy will rip you appart just by him being in the same system. He doesnt even have to be be near the fight, he still knows what to do and who to call. Great fun and a great freind in small ops also. Will never forgett me in a jaguar him in a deimos, 3 am or something like that killing BS after BS, partially 4 at a time.

Foyle deserves a mention because she really put a lot of effort into CA at its peak. Xirtam also deserves a mention. He was great for shooting the **** with and for rallying the troopers. Thol as well now that we got him on Midol.

Tholarim is deffo the best FC ingame, no doubts there at all. I think he must've won like 98% of the battles he led and he led hundreds. n00b scriptor's no-nonsense politics both in and out of the corp making ATUK better all the time since the dawn of EVE is cause for great respect as well. Duke Droklar comes to mind as well... don't think anyone else could keep his troops in line the way he did.USS Omaha was a great FC in CA as well.

From personal experience Steel Rat and Cyvok do an amazing job. Best pair of leaders in EVE in my opinion.
KSUDruid is a great leader, whether you are flying with him or just talking crap its always a fun time and stuff gets done.
There are lots of people I'd like to fly with some day but don't know a lot about them other than whats on the forums. Light Darkness is at the top, Seleene, the BOB leaders, Chowdown, etc. Too many people in this game deserve respect for the time, effort, and commitment they put into their corps and alliances for the benefit of everyone else. It's impossible to name or even remember them all. _____________________ We are not a mining corp. We are not a pvp corp. We are a 0.0 corp. CoRM is recruiting here |

These names are not uncommon. EVE is not so big that those who run the power houses and lead armies wouldn't know, who the leader is on the other side... or should know at any rate.

Seleene can only be matched by Danny.
But since Seleene is the only in-game name of those two, I'm gonna put down Seleene.
Golan, I am proud you have come to see the light! Holy destruction unbound by the shackles of false gods. Freedom through annihilation! We will... oohhh, ice cream... /me wanders off.

Edited by: Zzazzt on 08/01/2006 03:13:12 Leaders in Eve come into 2 categories: Fleet Commanders and Visionaries.
FCs are the upfront "follow me to Hell" types who inspire 'right here right now' reactions from pilots to follow them into battle. The point here isn't so much how much they win or lose, it's how many people can they get into a gang and manage.
Without a shadow of a doubt, the best FCs I have ever flown with or against and been able to form an opinion of are:
Mchalin [VIRII] DoctorGonzo [BNC] TerminusX [DVRN] Slothe [MLM] Lordmix (was [-ASS-], now doing the rounds ) Dianabolic [RKK] Cormark [ENIGM] Gary Gutspiller [USUCK]
In terms of rep, I hear good things about:
Tholarim [ATUK] TheBold [MASS] Aeryn Sun [COL] Boldyn [BAPWN] Eyeshadow [FRIK] Shadowthrone [CELES] Naphtalia [MLM] Light Darkness [SERA]
The Visionary is the kind of guy that can build dreams. Any CEO/director group that maintains a corp/alliance where people love to be, devoting themselves to the running of their organisation and the happiness of their members fits this category. Bear in mind that no-one can succeed on a big scale alone in this role. Behind every major figurehead in this game is a team equally as committed as him. The greats as I see it are these:
Seleene [BDCI] This guy took a small merc outfit and turned it into what is possibly the most effective, reliable and universally respected combat force in Eve. His passion for and knowledge of the game is matched only by the devs, and his devotion to his boys is simply amazing. He adapts to the shifting tides of the game almost effortlessly. But at the end of the day, a leader is best judged by the achievements and performance of those that follow him. This guy's the head of the MC. 'Nuff said.
Cyvok [CLS] Presided over the construction of the first 2 outposts in Eve. Made CLS the biggest corp in Eve. Made Xetic the biggest alliance in Eve. Made ASCN the biggest alliance in Eve. Love him or loathe him, this guy knows how to manage toons and make disparate corps work together as a single entity like no other.
RobeyOne [RONA] (retd.) Made RONA a supercorp back in the day, and was a leading light in the NVA. Empire builder extraordinaire.
tornsoul [BIG] Founder of Eve's first true megacorp, and a founder of the original FA. His commitment to the Eve community at large marks him out for special mention.
Jade Constantine [JERIC] Awesome vision. Awesome charisma. Awesome dictionary. I miss his posts. He made us all heroes in the stories of TGNW.
n00b script0r [ATUK] It's no secret that MLM & ATUK are hardly the best of friends, but I have always stood in awe of the fact that n00b seems/seemed to be able to hold together that amount of *that kind* of player and keep them active and happy.
The last (but by no means least) three get mentioned together.
SirMolle [EVOL], Galavet [RKK] and Blacklight [BNC] Not content with making, growing and sustaining three of the most capable corps in the game, these guys put together a year ago what others are reaching today. Discipline, organisation & dedication personified.
edit:
How could I have missed:
Destable [VNTR] The man is a God. And he has huge, brass nuts. ____________________________________________

The other FC's I wont list for security reasons, but I love you guys

FC's - DJ Lightning and Cartiff, flew with DJ for a damn long time, learned everything I know about pvp from him, and cart.........well you may not always live, but you always get a fight, and you always enjoy the game you pay for (in the end, after all the numbers and chest thumping, thats all that really matters).
Leadership - gotta go with the fanbois here, Cyvok and Seleene, both built up great names and reputations for their organizations, and both throw tons of time and effort into expanding and maintaining said organizations.
Special Mention - Nyxus and Gazmus, watched as you both join TMPL and worked your ways up to FC's, Directors and eventually leaders of NBSI, I'd throw down for either of you anytime.

Alliance Leaders:
Ayern Sun/Trigger: For leading SA vs CA in the olden Day's
Seelene: The dream of remoulding a blob into a efficient killing machine
Fluffle and Buddrow and CO: Learning the Art of Patience in POS war fare and holding there alliance together through a very tough time VS ASCN
CYVOK/Steel Rat: 2 Capable Pollutions (Well Rats probably just KOSÆed me for saying that now)
BOB those 3 leaders, BL Gal Molle (and there directors): for knowing how to turn the game into a easy life ISKISKISK J I still want that dread Molle rich git Trig took all my isk.
Cujo (yes Cujy!): For struggling hard to fight vs. SA holding his alliance and corp together through allot of work and politics! GG man you tried real hard and still do to this date ;)
Corp Leaders:
KIAEddz: MuchÆoÆrespecteo for keeping the KIA going and fighting on today, HavenÆt heard much public words from them, they must be on a top secret mission at the moment
Chowdown: I cant go a thread without saying his name can I, or Hast will just spam my mail box until I edited this postJ, He knows what heÆs doing and just keeps on going. He flies mining barges into combat now.
Trigger: Well my CEO what can I sayà. ? He doesnÆt know how to PVP, He fitÆs Tachyons on a Scorp and saysà There is no PG for a armour repà And he says ôwait in this system guys IÆm off down the shop back in 5 minuetsÆ 5 Hours latter.. æI donÆt think heÆs coming back guysÆ
Fleet Commanders:
Razzil: Just getÆs the job done DoesnÆt care VS what numbers CLOSE RANGE YAAAARRR
Ayern Sun: Taught me allot about living on the front lines and for the fight, care about nothing than those that fly with you and you will beat all that oppose (eventually)
Stan (Stizzzzzziuum Hillidi): Keeps that fleet in check and moveÆs fast, Sometimes much faster than his own fleet mates can handle But thinking on your feet is what gets you the win button!
Pyrotesea: For knowing what he is doing and not fearing oddÆs willing and ready as I remember him..
Wraith storm / Boldyn: During the FIX / Coalition wars we knew when these 2 were about FIX behaviour turned into less stupidity and more along the lines of.. There not talking in local they must be planning something :D Some very good fights from them, But Wraith splitting your fleets the way you did was always a silly thing to do :) GG!
There are so many more I have to mention but my memory is bad in EVE I forget what happens in yesterdays fights :(
Ow well my submissions

Tons of them in this game but my fav's are / were
Mindlles Marko D Boldyn
now one can lead the gang/raid, fly a hac, and scout ahead with a cov ops like Mindlles can...if your in gang with him you know yoru gonna come home with some killmails and a new appreciation for the english language...
Marko D is the most intelligent FC I've ever flown under...clear, calm and percise he has a way of leading a fight that is just down right scary...
Boldyn commands and deserves respect, if your flying with him you know your gonna do it the right way and the honorable way and for god sakes STFU in local..

Cheers Neon, the money's in teh post
tbh i've had more pressing priorities IRL over the last 6 months, so since joining BoB i've taken a back seat in the whole leading milarkey and left it to the guys i always knew were that little better than me in the FC part.
Shrike/BL/DBP and my other brothers. KSUDruid has been incredible recently, and in small group encounters if you don't soak in every word TWD says, you're an idiot. Mad props to Phonix too, the guys a suicide machine, yet you strangely come out alive when you know you really shouldn't have!
Yes, this is most definatley a bias view . I've been in SA, (breifly) CA and flown with a lot of the old skool pirate corps out there since '03 but for me these guys stand head and shoulders above the rest.

Al Haquis with Mah Kraah: Happy days, Al's a complete loony who id follow into deaths gaping maw quite happily because he's make it great fun. Al used to take lead of fleets and Mah used to be the voice of wisdom. Al would lead us into certain death and Mah would reign him in. Everyone from UK who have been in a fleet with these two will know what i mean, happy days :)

Destable and Budrow for putting the cluster **** that was dek region back together again. Anyone who was around during the time when the cod/nsa died and now sees whats going on would be hard pressed to find anyone whos done a finer job.
My Ceo Munch for having brass balls and leading by example. Doing what it takes to keep us moving forward and kicking people in the ***** who try to get in our way. Fluffel/g leadership , 3 words -- efficient, precise, deadly.
Selene putting the MC together is amazing. Considering there is pratically no support by CCP to make it happen.
Cyvok for basically writing the manual on organizing a large corp/alliance into an industrial powerhouse. Lots to be learned from that.
To the FC's that I wont name because youll probably be primary. You all kick ***.

Best FC :
Tholarim. When he led/leads an op, you just feel safe. And despite taking on tougher odds, don't flinch because he just instills that kinda confidence in everyone in the channel.
Acier: Had to take the reigns when some SUPRM members left for ATUK... and did a brilliant job. Very good tactical mind.
Evil Thug : Hes the funniest guy to listen in on TS. Always sounds angry as if hes beating up some RAT member when he talks its like hes just raining down blows on the poor guy hes talking to. Then he translates that to the English speaking category on the channel and actually sounds... normal.

The Bold impressed me a lot. Tholarim of Atuk. One of the few Atuk I have anything nice to say about. Caught us in a good trap awhile back.
Crohnx as well. I thought he was one of Xetic's best FC's. If he'd been on 24/7 and running things Xetic would still be around and maybe even more feared than Bob. :)

Ok it seems limiting your picks to just two is out the window. I will now count up to 5 picks from a single pilot. I will count only the top 5 you list so if you want to add more feel free.
I am resubmitting my entries
Avernus: silk tongue devil. A gifted leader, With is charismatic voice and witty charm, people are naturally drawn towards him. . Thanks to listening to Avernus on TS I win an argument with the wife once in a while.
Wraithstorm: Hands down the best FIX JCoS to ever walk the path. He had the drive and determination of NEZ, the diplomatic skills of Avernus and he led our alliance while also keeping his Corp on top at every level. /me bow to wraith.
Marko: best dam FC I have ever been in gang with.
Hicks: One of the main reasons FIX exists. His SIG says it all. Of couse sometimes he doesnÆt follow his own advice. :D
IM probably not the best FC but when I do. I think my style is a mix of these two pilots.
There would be one other FC listed here but he won't talk to me anymore :(
G1mp: This guy knows everything!! He stays on top of everything alliance is upto. HeÆs very stubborn but it's ok cause he is normally right.
Guys not in game that would be in top 5
Nez S3VYN Yoda
GUYS that I must mention cause they are kick Arse.
Grittpepledasher Riven Zangief Mozzinator Tadis Mindlles
And a special mention to
Packer: a total noob who came into my Corp just as I was going to disband it. He taught me what it means to suck it up!! Because of him Dark Centuri is once again among the top corporations within FIX.

2 peeps spring to mind:
Balasz Simon of HUN - fantastic commander, flew with him in FA and now again in F-E
and
Soul Raven - have been in some of my best and favourite fights when he's taken command
There are deffinitely others but you said stick with 2 and these are mine --------------

Anyone that gives me targets and doesnt ***** around worrying about numbers gets a thumbs up from me
I've had fun both leading big fleets and being part of em, ive seen some of the largest most exciting fleet battles this game has had thus far. Admittedly not much activity from me in the last 12 months or so but with any luck i will be back playing full time in a few more weeks.
Anyways people that stand out from the crowd in my humble opinion: These people not only manage to organise a fleet, keep it stable and direct the fleet throughout the course of the battle, they also provide the key element to any time spent in a game. Fun...
Zap/Rev/Omni/TWD/Stav Infact pretty much anyone from the core m0o fleet (before m0o became swollen with noobs) we're more than perfectly capable of running and organising fleets. We had such a blast.
Molle/Shrike: One of my favourites to run as my commander, he is calm organised and always provides me with lots of oppurtunity to score kills and take risks.
TWD: TWD is awesome on a scanner and probably my favourite for leading small hunting parties. We would often have just a small number of us ahead of the main fleet taking out stragglers and people on route to join main enemy fleet, TWD could locate positions of unweary miners etc in a system and find out the belt they were in, in seconds. It was just constant moving death with him in charge. Mucho Respect ;)
Script/Stan/Thol (ATUK Crew)
Had alot of fun with these guys round the curse region and in the xetic regions. for several nights in a row we would be racking up stupid amounts of kills in fleet battles, then after most people had logged 3 or 4 of us would roam around and keep killing. Bags of fun. (However Stan needs to keep a little more calm on TS)
Well anyways ive rambled on enough about the people who have made eve fun for me on a fleet fighting basis. There are so many more people that i would like to mention that i have had the pleasure of flying with and against and have made my gametime more fun..

This is a tricky one to have to limit to just two, as I've flown under a few FCs in ASCN and have nothing but admiration for leadership as a whole.
So I'll nominate one person who I respect the most as a general motivator type, that being Steel Rat, who has just the right balance of CYVOK's niceties, and Murphy who's more like THE BEATINGS WILL CONTINUE UNTIL MORALE IMPROVES... PINHEADS!
Meanwhile for one FC, this is an even harder decision. KSUDruid would be right up there if he was still in ASCN, but of the current crew, I gotta call it a tie between Waagaa, Crohnx and Krapz.
Sorry, two names alone I just can't single out.

Much as I hate to admit it seems the greatest leader in Eve would be Molle.
He has been on top far longer than most that are playing and has shown amazing skills at manipulating people. Just imagine how much isk he has aquired in the past few years from the hard working cheap labor he has. Hell he even managed to get a whole alliance to fund his wallet/ebay appetite.
Second would be Cyvok, who is trying to follow Molle's lead. Hmm maybe its the same person....

The original post was for a great leader, not specifically a great fleet commander.
If you want to put it in simpler terms with regards ASCN... they faced their biggest challenge to date from a full attack by G and Iron and Cyvok led them to victory by remaining undefeated at the end of it (in terms of them holding their territory and seeing the enemy having to pull out).
Many could see that as the mark of a great leader.
Personally I prefer to play with amazing fc's as leaders but I can respect their views.

Yes this post was about leading, but ppl start to name FCs, so i just share my point of view with u fellow readers.
IMO ASCN is nothing more then a huge alliance with some corp that would kill their mom to get near archonor/BS spawns. But that seems to fit a lot of those huge alliaces with more then 15 corps in it.
And about Cyvok dunno much about him but he used to sit in VNG a lot, so he seems to be quiet busy organizing outpost #82.

Don't follow everyone who posts off-topic ;)
Especially when you quantify your own argument by stating that Cyvok is busy organising outpost #82.
Again, some people might think that the organisation needed to construct outpost #82 was pretty impressive.
I'm not agreeing or disagreeing with that point but playing devils advocate with you :P
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and flaming someone because someone else said they were good in a thread like this is just silly ;)

There are no good leaders in eve. Only headless chickens squashed in a pen with nowhere to run. If you cant think for yourself, get out of the game.

there are people that like to work *gasp* together for a common goal. Or is that to big for you head to fathom? You'd be suprised what enterprising people follow in the path of good leaders. And good leaders are only as good as their followers are aswell.
A mastermind trying to make headless chickens do something other then just running around is not gonna get very far...

I ask you: IF Cyvok would ever enter in any kind of fleetbattle, would he ever even had the chance to fire a single shot? ("OMG THERE'S CYVOK! CYVOK IS PRIMARY!")
Again not trying to flame here or nothing, and I never say Cyvok leading a fleet into the battle (don't care about that tbh), BUT you can be damn sure that in terms of administration and stuff, I am still to find someone in EVE that can do better than him.
If you rate leadership by leading glorious fleets into the battle, ok, Cyvok is not that kind of leader. BUT if you rate leadership by someone who can grab in a bunch of corps, give them a reason to fight for their ground, to acomplish greater things than simple mindless slugfests at 60km range, to inspire that same bunch of corps to build a totally player-driven empire back in the bonies far from the safety of empire, then I belive that there are very few people in EVE that can compare to Cyvok.
...but hey.. that's just my opinion ----------------

That's why most well-known CEO's and FC's have pvp alts, isnt it ? :F

So u got my point, "posting XYZ is great leader" is pointless, but giving reason why he is a good leader makes it clear, even for little drones like me.
And i do respect Cyvok abilities in organizing, cause when u have build 82 outposts u must be kind of genius.

CYVOK might not be the best FC but He his one of the greatest Leader, he took ASCN and he a short time made it capable of amazing things!
Same as the americans in the world war II, What was really amazing was the speed with which the Americans adapted themselves to modern warfare. Starting from scratch an army has been crafted in the very minimum of time, which, in equipment, armament and organization of all arms, surpasses anything the world has yet seen.

Edited by: Ulendar on 25/01/2006 12:54:35 Edited by: Ulendar on 25/01/2006 12:51:11 I was with these corps on a different account over a year ago (ask me ingame if you like), so in no particular order:
Drunkenmaster in Space Invaders - fun, helping each other out, great guys he kept together (til they disbanded ofc) - was one corp in a million. Sadly never met Setec though >_<
SirMolle, Evolution: Not even getting to their pvp skills, the fact that he keeps a corp with the structure of Evol together is more than amazing if you think about it. Quality. Probably closest to finding the "I win Eve button". Real life got the best of me though and I had to leave Eve shortly after joining Evol. *******s. Oh well, keep it up guys.
Noob Scriptor, Atuk: From a gaming experience, on par with Evolution. You guys let me join when I was about to quit Eve out of pure frustration, and that alone puts this corp to the very top in my book.
XirtamVotf back in the old CA days: funniest old fart I ever talked to ^^. And if I am allowed to go a bit ooc: forget the darklord ****zle, as an alliance leader he was the man, no more, no less.
And as of late, the ceo of the Xelas corp M8s I recently joined, Yitro. He has a solid idea where to take the corp, is a great person to talk to, quick to reply to issues etc ... all of these traits and the corp itself, when a buddy kept squabbling about it, made me come back to Eve in the first place. Expecting not much really, I found out he was right.
Originally by: cashman It's time for Eris to get a clue. CCP should make a statement about this.
It's the exact same things as what Zombie did, you may not attack in "safe-areas" (empire/within sentry range) without loosing your ship.

In 8 years of online gaming I've rarely met a field commander as competent or professional as Hellcore. I would follow him into any fight and count myself priviledged to do so.
