I am thinking of buying a Minmatar charater who is HAC ready for PvP. Is is worth looking for a different race or are the HAC's and Recon ships for Minmatar worth using?
Thanks in advance for any info.

I'm biased, but best HAC in the game IMO =)

Iv gone up against many vagabonds in the past with my deimos, and they are worthy opponents if you have good pilot and a good fitting as with every other HAC.

shut up. they not. they suck. nobody should buy vagabonds or muninns as they are worthless. the people who have them ordered on naga should cancel their orders today.

Vagabond = slow, medicore DPS, below average tanking ability for a HAC
Muninn = only useful with artillery, artillery sucks, bad HAC
I'd go for an Amarr HAC character. Their HACs rock.

If u do buy a minnie HAC dont take it up against a cerberus, u will only be left speechless with how fast u ended up in ur pod, and that applies to both minnie hacs.

You dont have any arguments. And you keep saying the same thing. If you dont have anything more to say, then please one post is enough. The vagabond is a great hit and run ship, for fast operations. WCS in lows and as soon you start to loose, just warp out.

it's amazing how one person fails to grasp the theme of replies in this thread. There is a very good reason why vagabonds cost 160m+, and it's not because they suck

I have never died so many times in such a short period of time as when i fly minnie hacs.
weak resists, slow speed and crap slot layout, you cant do anything in them that cant be bettered by another race`s tech 1 cruiser,
closer range vaga/muninn looses everytime to a thorax
long range vaga/muninn looses everytime to a thorax
buy a thorax instead

lol. i'm w/ lone on this one. in fact, for solo, vagabond is best you can get. only hac i would even consider going up against an ishtar with
(outside of another ishtar :P , but i cant use them)
...and pay no attention the 'stfu' choir, they just tryin to keep demand on them lower so they cheap
