Exactly. If they convince you they suck, you won't buy them and demand goes down.
In the words of my 28m SP pvp friend - "The Vagabond is the closest thing to an invincible hit and run ship I've ever seen."
In conclusion - Minmatar HACS do NOT suck. All you have to do is look at the stats and try flying one and you'll see they don't.

The Vaga is just incredibly sucks, because I am a decent guy, I'l take it off your hands for a measly 100mil (msg me in game)...
Concerning the Muninn, nothing to write about, this HAC has a big M on the nose for Mediocre imo.

The vaga is definately the most overrated ship in the game.
Its good for 2 things: Killing NPCers in the south and being a heavy tackler, and I'd rather use a stabber for the 2nd one.
Vs any close range BS, you either die or if you are lucky he has no web or heavy nos so you warp out. Vs long range BS you will most likely win, but hell you would win in a t1 cruiser in that situation.
Its fun to fly cause its like flying a super inty, but that doesn't mean its as uber as everyone thinks it is.
I'd still much rather have caldari cruiser 5 than minmatar cruiser 5 in any situation. Eagle is vastly superior than the muninn at the only thing the muninn does better than the vaga, sniping. And the Cerb is just plain uber.

pre-RMR minmatar HACs were easy kills in thoraxes. Hell my corpm8 killed a plated automuninn using a vexor.

Let's say it's a mod you have to think very hard (i mean, very very hard) before fitting it on a close range setup. I hope I didn't give to much away, people might *gasp* be creative and start thinking and fitting it... Eh. You know, that very specialized mod that non-specific setups have no problem to defeat, that nobody ever bother fitting since it's a lot of sacrifices for little to no reward, in so few circumstances...

Cyclone is a very good ship but the Vagabond is still a lot faster and more agile. Both are good ships - one just costs 4x the price for a bit more speed and less highslots

Using scrambler, web and 2 racial jammers, 2 med + 1 light EW drone against close range BS can do miracles on Vagabond... I have had several issues breaking some tanks before ammo ends thou :) (and sometimes its very close when jamming fails here and there)

Personally, I never really connected with the cyclone. Somehow just not me. I don't know how. Perhaps it looks too much like an actual ship to be really Minnie.

minmatar HACs are the best. everyone should fly them instead of the cerberus.
the cerberus sucks soooo much. if you are one of the people who has an order for a cerberus on with BIG, cancel it now, and order a minmatar HAC (or anything else, i don't care as long as you stop buying cerbs)

im surprised that so many people would rather use artillery on a munin. Yes its made for use with thsoe guns, but just like a tempest it can b very effective with autcannons. pre-rmr I got my munin with 6500 armor with the lowest resistence being 50% expolive to armor. Everything else was well above 60%.
The main argument going around is its no good in solo combat. Well news flash people, not all combat is one on one. Yes its not the greatest 1 on 1 ship but in small engagments it can sit there and take a beating for several minutes. In the mean time you can nos it you can shoot it, but its still going to fire back and believe me, its going to hurt alot.
Anyone who says "it sucks dont buy it" is simlpy not creative enough to find a way to make a low prices HAC work just as good as an the high priced ones.

They are just as overpriced as all HAC true, they have wierd slot layouts, agree. But with an creative mind you can make it quite usefull. And I love to fly my Muninn, though not in PvP as it's way overpriced =/
People should stop whining, and stop claiming all amarrian ships are best (every one claims apoc is the best bs, zealot the best hac etc). Just give the ships a chanse =/

The vagabond is the ultimate solo hunter ship. Its not the most powerful hac in a straight up fight, but it packs a really big punch for basically being a tackler.
The munin is decent fleet support (but not as good as an eagle).
