My current home reads like a good party to be honest: B-52, Barbados Sunrise, Grasshopper, Kir Royale, La Habana, Rusty Nail, Sazerac, Screwdriver, Singapore Sling, Touchdown Tea, Vienna Soother, Virgin Mary, Zombie. Reason: While I don't drink and fly anymore ever since I once lost first a Badger Mk II full of expensive named items, Megacyte and Zydrine and then my then most expensive asset (t2 fitted Harpy), plus pod and full set of +3 implants (I was so mad about losing that indy that I went back and meant to "teach them a lesson" ), I still like having some nice drink just in sight. Besides, while having a beer every now and then is nice and dandy, I prefer***tails for their taste. And their names are nice! In addition to the above list, I've also recently lost a Scorpion Sting (Scorpion-class BS) to lag, petition is still going, I wasn't finished with that drink yet! ____________________

At the moment, since I'm pretty low level, I'm using female mythological figures for my Gallente combat ships. Ship Type: Gallente Ship Name: Shateki Reasoning: Shateki is Japanese for "target practice." All shuttles I use are named Shateki, regardless of race. Ship Type: Incursus Ship Name: Alecto III Reasoning: In Greek mythology Alecto was one of the three Furies Virgil identified by name, in her case the name meaning "unceasing." This is the third ship by that name I've owned, the two being lost to my own stupidity/pirates with bigger guns than me. Ship Type: Iteron I Ship Name: Sisyphus I Reasoning: In Greek mythology Sisyphus was a man condemned to spend eternity in the underworld pushing a boulder up a steep hill. Every time he nearly reached the top of the hill, the boulder would roll back down to the bottom and he'd be forced to start all over again. It seemed a fitting name for a ship whose thankless task consists entirely of hauling junk from one place to another. Odds are that when I get around to upgrading my Industrial Ship skill so I can use higher level Iterons (also for hauling the junk I collect like a packrat), they'll be further iterations in the Sisyphus line. Ship Type: Thorax Ship Name: Nemain I Reasoning: In Irish mythology Nemain was a goddess of war, her name meaning 'panic' or 'frenzy.' Her specialty was causing that aspect among warriors. She was also possibly an aspect of Morrigan, the Irish goddess of war. These are planned names for ships I do not yet own but am considering/working towards evntually: Ship Type: Dominix Ship Name: Tiamat I Reasoning: Tiamat was a Babylonian/Sumerian goddess/monster and diety of salt water and the seas. Her form was that of a fearsome dragon. When she and her consort Apsu were found to be plotting to murder the younger gods, Apsu was struck down by the god Enki. In response she sent forth hordes of her own offspring to wage war upong the gods, terrible monsters like sea serpents, storm dragons, and fish and scorpion-men. She was eventually slain by Marduk, her corpse cut in half and used to form the heavens and the earth. The Dominix's ability to deploy swarms of drones reminded me of her being the mother of all monsters. Ship Type: Megathron Ship Type: Morrigan I Reasoning: In Irish mythology, Morrigan (or The Morrigan) was the raven of battle, the terrible phantom queen goddess of war and conflict. Seemed appropriate to me, and I just like the name. If they release teir 3 battleships, I might name that one - if I bother - Morrigan and instead name the Megathron Agrona after the Celtic Britain goddess of carnage. I'll probably use other such names for assault, heavy assault, and battlecruisers, just sticking to the theme, if I bother going with the tech 2 ship route. If afterwards I decide to train up another race's ships, I'll probably come up with another theme for each. For Minmitar mythological monsters like Surtur, Kraken, Leviathan, Fenris, etc, and if I go Amarr instead maybe legendary weapons, like Cortana, Durandal, Joyeuse, Kusanagi, etc. I refuse to use Caldari ships ICly because my character is something of a xenophiliac (in the sense of being the opposite of normal Caldari xenophobia) and OOCly because the Caldari and Caldari ships seem too popular.

Although I made the mistake of not handing off gang leadership, woke up in a new clone. So an Apocalypse lost to of all things toast =(
