It's all about balance you see, I heard they are able to give the new bloodlines such good attributes because they are knocking them off 1+ year accounts so all the complaining newbies can catch up. Balance, balance, balance - It won't be long before all the vet's have an across the board 1.7 base stat set, with a 2.5 in charisma for generosities sake. After all we have got to look at the big picture here mate, I mean you've been playing since day one? Why the hell does that entitle you to have more skillpoints than a guy podding in yesterday hey?? Give them 10mill sp to spend how they like after completing the tutorial, wait, at the beginning then there is no need to do the tutorial. Throw in a free battleship and a backrub and I think the newbie player base will be content.

Guess i worded that wrong ^^; what i meant was, the 'o rly' owl thingie is basically 'subtitle' to owl picture, and the owl has expression on 'face' like she's saying "O RLY" ... and the way that Achur guys stares, kind of reminds me of that picture ^^;;

It unfair considering there was no "fighter" for amarr and no industral for minnie. I say they should either revise the attribute system so that thoes stuck with high charisma eg. Intaki can actually use that for something other than corp skills or leadership.
Or give older chars a chance to reroll using one of the new race's attribs.

I am sick and tired of this chicken little "the sky is falling, the sky is falling" panic about alleged "uber attributes" of the new bloodlines. Fact is, they have the same attributes as everybody else - 30 points in total.
Yes, I know most people consider charisma useless and perception to be the be-all, end-all, but the point is, that can change, too. Just wait until some new skills are introduced.
Sorry to sound angry, but it just irks me. Whenever something new is being introduced into the game, some people have a grievance. What's with the conservatism? Just shut up and be thankful that we are getting some new content in the first place.

Eris, if they didn't change the tech II ammo stats in two years they ain't gonna change the bloodline stats in 2 weeks.
These stats are imbalanced, but htey will stay that way becuase CCP shot themselves in the foot with the way attributes are handled. (One attribute being used as primary for 60 some odd percent of all the total skillpoint paths in the game)
Frankly they should just get rid of attributes, they don't fit well with How Eve handles stuff. Average the server stats and just use a global set of training times.

When I started this game I bought it from the shops. I got this neat little manual with it, which was outdated on nearly all points after only 5 months after release.
Anyways, in this manual was listed the base stats the races had at launch. Nearly everyone was at 30 total, with a few exceptions. Intaki was the strongest at 32 total. I think Ni-Kunni and Gallente/Gallente were at 31. And last I think there was one or two with only 29.
(Why I only think and do not know is because I've lost my manual )
The only attributes I am worried about is that they'll make some big misstake like "Oh, Jin Mei, great. They'll be like a hybrid Intaki/Gallente. Lots of Charisma and Memory. Sounds good, let's go for it!" - I really hope they do NOT do that misstake.

Are the new attributes unbalanced?
Well let's assume that a new character will gain 200,000 more skill points a month than a veteran. I happen to think that that's an exaggeration.
At that rate, it would take twelve and a half years to catch up with a charater currently on thirty million points.
