We are aiming to make it happen sometime after the initial release but at this stage we simply cannot commit to a date. Why don't you start by describing the glaring problems with the class? Assaultfrigates are fine and are widely popular in low-sec, small scale PvP.

How about at least giving them their fourth bonus, and switch one of the Retribution's high slot to mid? It should take very little time, and can always be rebalanced later if something go wrong.

First you acknowledge the issues, decide which ones you will work on, then make a timetable. Not all features and fixes make it to the release. AFs really aren't the most important thing to fix. Many would agree that they aren't broken at all, I see them flown a lot and they kill stuff.

Is it really that hard to just give AF's those bonuses and be done with it? Or is there a limiting factor with the old code that makes programing more difficult then say the simpler code in DX11? I also think you all should go DX11 so it is a lot easyer to program changes into the game instead of useing a continuingly outdated and difficult programning system to continuously update.

Only the hopelessly naive or heavily medicated think we are still on the table .. my guess is that it was scrapped immediately after Hilmar's mention of it, they just haven't gotten around to informing us of all the promises they will have to break this time around. So far we have had confirmation of graphical bling and a few balance changes .. nothing that can be called expansion worthy (other than as side dishes). Still need info on all the the big ticket items .. all the things that prompted them to refocus in the first place.
