I mean 4 tengus wanted to fight.... but yea can't see a ruppy even getting all that many shoots off let alone even threatening anything. I think the magic sauce that Aldap and co are leaving out is where do you find these fights? So far FW space has been best, but they are never really alone and are always using links. Anyway, looking forward to the result.

Anyway, looking forward to the result. Sometimes you get lucky if you pretend to be just some carebear trying to farm tags in a LowSec-belt, if FW-central gets to boring. On dotlan you can see the systems with the highest activity, or you just take a LowSec-system which is a choking point between different strings of HighSec-systems. The rest is experience, sooner or later you notice which ships you can and which you can't fight with your current fit at a glance, then you just warp out when you see them on D-Scan. Or prep your modules if you decide you can take them.

Will an upload on the 27th be ok? Would you rather assemble the recordings into one or shall I?

I'd guess that several files wouldn't be a problem, but if you merge them, could you also give the exact timestamps of the split points, aka the length of the original segments?

I could be wrong, but I don't know why a few hours more past the downtime until the midnight would cause any issue. But mail asap if you think your full submission would not be done in time, declare your fight details as requested, the upload of the video footage would have some leeway.

Tried to fight a SFI and Vexor navy in it tonight but they weren't havin' it and two systems later got jumped by a 4 man frig gang when i jumped a gate. Burned for the gate because of their griffin but when he failed his first jam cycle I counterattacked, got kills on the griffin, comet and rifter before: socket closed............. Lucky for me the firetail took the opportunity to reconsider his position and must have left because i was in a panic warp spot when i logged back in. A fight that stops moving then ends with stuff still happening makes for ****** footage.

If you still haven't recieved an confirmation email at the end of next week there might have been something wrong and we will of cause allow you to resubmit if there has been problems. I'm fairly new to EVE, but I've been reading about it since I started DUST back in closed beta and I always wanted to get into the PvP. Despite losing tons of ships trying to get some decent fights in with my meagre SP, I kept going out there because this challenge was up, because of the article in Aldap's siggy, because I'm one of those guys who will fight the blob for the mail later that acknowledges that despite me being a newbie, despite being totally outgunned and with only death as an option, it was surprisingly difficult to kill me anyway. Hope you enjoy watching my fights; maybe they'll lead to some reminiscing on your own first encounters of solo PvP.

If they're each just 3mins long(some are 15mins+), and we give them 2 watches, that's 10hours solid of material to view, and all/the vast majority of the judges need to find this time before we then have our final list, and then Miz can make the compilation. If it's ~10mins to review & comment on & rank 1 submission, that's 1000mins aka 17 hours of work, each.
