Why is the game so boring and predicatable atm? Why is there no decent close range combat options? Why do blasters never hit if your target is not webbed? Why should mega pilots be forced to fit webbers? Why do u think sniping is so much more effective? Long range = boredom and death of eve PLZ fix it

The rails do only a little less damage but have RANGE instead." And if it's only about close range damage, a siege raven does more, has two nos' instead of one and can tank (better). To be really usable, blasters would need 75% PG or 150% damage or something. As for me, i abandoned skilling mega / hybrids any further and switched to imbaRaven. More damage, easier to fit, better tank. Its a lot of fun :D edit: 1) first come, third posting ^^ 2) what sticky? that with the increased tracknig boni? that won't rescue blasters ^^ -- This game is still in beta stage

Intelligence was obviously the first to go. Probably closely followed by Perception, then Memory, Willpower... and his Charisma was never high to begin with. ---------- And God said... I switched from Autocannons to blasters and it seemed to me like the damage went up....ok, so you have to get 4000m closer...but thats peanuts when you've been 35km already. Sure, I take a beating when I'm getting in range....but once you're there its all creamy.

Well surprise to all, there are 2 more close range turret types that exist and like blasters they have their disadvantages. The excuse of "I take a beating when approaching to get in range for my blasters" is a non-valid one. This holds true with all close range turrets, the reason people want nerfes is because another turret doesn't have the disadvantage that their turret has. If we make everything equal what is the point of choosing one over the other. Blaster - highest damage in game but short range and high cap drain Autocannons - lowest damage in game but high ROF and almost no cap drain Pulses - medium damage, medium ROF, best range, crap damage types As you can see in this brief recap above, all turrets have their advantages and disadvantages, which i may or may not have mentioned. Eve is all about choices and to make choices you have to live with the sacrifice of not using something else. Just get over this "my favorite turret needs nerfed crap". e.g. You don't like high cap drain, use autocannons, you don't like short range, use pulses, it's that simple really.

Anyway I'd say he has a point, I remember 2 years ago waiting in A2-V27 for the CA fleet to jump in, no 150km sniping bullcrap we were all sitting close to the gate balls to the walls, once the action started we slugged it out like there was no tomorrow.
