Everything must be in another patch.

WHOA!!!
You just need to mellow out lots...
There was no *****ing there in the least. You must have severe relationship issues if someone musing and noting things is *****ing. The fact that they are on another patch is A.O.K. with me and many others that are happy with all these extensive much needed changes.

All i can say about this patch is, when an apocolypse or armageddon strolls up on you, i hope you're ready cause tachyons can rip my ravens shields apart in about 3 volleys.. it's nasty.
Missles got a lot better, but IMO still can't compete with turrets.
The tachyon laser is king of damage, I don't think any conventional setup can beat a battleship with tachyons.. gotta think outside the box if you wanna beat that setup. ------

I thought deep core mining was in this patch ? Also where are the elite frigates ?
None of this patch is new content.

Nice Patch. Quite a lot in this one.
So in war, the way is to avoid what is strong and to strike at what is weak. |

there is no say that the LOOT TABLES HAVE BEEN FIXED...
so we get stronger NPC pirates but they drop same **** as now?? HOW FAIR IS THAT??
i see already a problem with this patch... if they didnt change the loot tables well... expect to see 20+ threads of this... support Idea: QuickInfo an alternative to ShowInfo

ya and none of the other stuff that is being talked about is in the game ... IE anchoring and modile refineries etc... and no cloaking either? so we need to wait more?
I guess not a problem so long as they are done more... but this patch is lacking in new content though its ok on the fixing and balancing so far?
the NPC pirates might be a problem since i didnt find anywere the words LOOT TABLE changed...
if pirates will be harder we should get better loot and higher sec boost... kind of have to balance them all not nerf only... support Idea: QuickInfo an alternative to ShowInfo

No, just because some stuff is in TESTING on chaos doesn't mean that it's finished until the next patch. Thank god for that, we wouldn't want to wait 4 weeks more/get "content" that doesn't work at all.

The biggest you`ve seend?Really? Hehe... oh I remember the old days... Elder Scrolls:Arena must have had 15 A4 pages of bug fixes (on the 1st patch)! (hmmm come to think of it, all Bethesda games were like that)
Anyway the patch addresses MANY problems IMO-despite all the whining- and is a most welcomed addition.
Now if the devs get some time away from problem fixing to add some story into the game it would be even better

the way the sentries and refiners are working on chaos now i would never want them on tq. Now this doesnt mean that they dont work correctly, from what i've seen they do, it's just that the stats for them need to be adjusted and worked out.
As for the elite frigates, they're not even on chaos yet, so they're probly a couple patches down the road.
Good changes being made in the patch, should make npc and pvp fights a little more interesting now.

Apocolypse can equip up to five. Their regular hits inflict uhm 450-500 dmg.. yeah, they use a lot of energy but how much do you need when you're hitting that hard? Not much. They******you. I lost half my shields instantly (my raven has close to 6,000 shields btw). Shield hardeners reduced it to like uhm.. maybe 250ish dmg? That's still quite a bit.
All I can say is don't expect to go up against tachyons and win unless you have way some to 'neutralize' their lasers. You will lose, no turret dishes out so much damage. Quite insane, tachyon > *. ------

Its a bug fix and balancing patch.
We were hopeing for...
New roids New Mineral New skills Deployable fixtures (sentry guns/Mobile ref) The ability to start getting some tech 2 items with new mineral.
I know alot of people say stop *****ing but our corp lost several people in the last 3 weeks due to boredom. I kept on trying to bring there spirits up with what comming out next patch.
Guess what, none of what i said is comming out. So i am gunna loose more people.
I am pretty sure i am not the only one in this situation.

So since they don't mention Secure containers and anchoring, I assume they will work as they do now post-patch?

Temerlyn at least some of the stuff you mentioned are currently tested on chaos, so they can't be very far away :)
Drutort loot tables? Bad drops? lol? I hunted some last night...found a extruded heat sink, a heavy anode particle, a medium C5-L shield booster, a 21.9% cargo expander, the best stasis web, and some more. Have been hunting for half an hour this morning, one skadi coolant system, a thermal exhaust, a 19.6% cargo expander, some rare afterburner (not much better than the normal ones though).
In one week I have found loot worth over 30 mil. I think that maybe that's even too much. Rare stuff should be rare.
This is my signature. |

Althought this patch prolly needed a lot of work, its very disapointing.
The game needs new contents badly. I know i right now only log on to train skills from time to time. Nothing is appealing me anymore.
All i see are features (nerfs mainly) that wont bring anything new to the game. Oh boy i feel like in the old EQ days where everything were being nerfed left and right.
CCP needs to wake up and realize we need AT LEAST the asteroids respawns fixed, closely followed by mobile raffineries.
Seeing the rate at which we get patches, im quite worried about the game's future. A lot of people were waiting for this patch with big hopes.
Oh yeah and while we are at it, if the laser weapon class have a "unique weapon" (read tachyon), why doesnt other weapon classes get a unique weapon as well? As it stands, its get energy weapons or suck. I cant stand energy weapons, their sound is **** and give me headache after 30mins hearing it.

Here's a plus for hybrid users (which I don't believe I saw on the patch notes), the 425mm railgun is only 2750mw grid usage now. Here's a minus, it still sucks. ROF on that gun needs reduced to about 7.5 sec..
Anyways just thought I'd mention it, if anyone cares. I'm sure everyone will be moving to tachyons this patch, they are teh uber 300-450dmg a shot easy. The 425mm railgun can barely push 200dmg, heh. ------
