Sugestion when browsing trought the items, since not all links have items there why dont u put the numbers of item filtered in that category for example:
[Ship Equipment](20) - [Civilian Modules] (0) or no number at all - [Porpulsion](5) - [Turrets & Bays](15)

Why is no gametime listed in the search? Is it being restricted from the auctions?

Very good suggestion Brother Benthor; *busily adds it to their list*. Will get to it ASAP!
Tyhme, it is not that the site consciously restricts GTC auctions -- but they are not in the CCP item data-export, which is what the entire auction site is based off of (this is also why things like BMs and/or characters are not currently auctionable). They are on my list for implementation; but I need to come up with a way to implement them that I am happy with, first. Thanks for your note!
Thanks, Saranda, I hope you find it useful.

There is now a "New" auction link that shows you one of two things:
- If you are not logged in, it shows you auctions that have started in the past 24 hours.
- If you are logged in, it shows you auctions that have started since the *last* time that you logged in.

Here's some interesting statistics about EVEbay, as well:
Between April 18 04:00 and April 29 20:00:
* 393 people have signed up to use EVEbay. * 220 auctions have been started on EVEbay. * Of the 220 auctions that have been started, 130 have been completed. * Of the 130 that have been completed, half were successfully sold.

Sugestion: Tracking of specific item auctions for login players, for example i wish to buy a implant (rare one) i wonder if its possible to track auctions. for example:
- open my preferences - click track auctions - Select item name like when placing a auction: "Akemon's Modified 'Noble' ZET5000" - Select notify via e-mail - Save Settings
This will allow me to track a Akemon's Modified 'Noble' ZET5000 if it someone places it in auction on eve-bay by e-mail and also when logged, will allow me to go the preferences and shows my tracking auctions:
- Akemon's Modified 'Noble' ZET5000: > [Sorai] ( current bid: 200.000.000 - buyout: 1.000.000.000 (R)) > [Hippoking] ( current bid: 600.000.000 - buyout: 1.200.000.000 (R))
:) this will help when eve-bay gets bigger, for players to track the items they are looking for.
GL with the project :)

hoo and i forgot
- can u allow sorting of items by column? Some times i wish to sort items by name and not by Time remaining.
- and can u add a new column to next to HIGH BID with STARTING BID and/or BUYOYT ? players dont intend to bid on already overpriced items so, and since eve-browser is dam slow. i dont want to open an item that is overpriced for bidding.. that way i can check the list and click on the ones i want to bid.
- and place the same (##) of the categoryes on the NEW AUCTIONS - CURRENT AUCTIONS - COMPLETED AUCTIONS so ppl can keep track of how many there are :)

Thanks for the suggestion, Benthor. If I understand what you are describing properly, I think that you are describing "Watched Auctions", correct? If that is so then it is on my list; as is adding the ability to "Watch" categories (i.e. get an e-mail on a new auction in the categorie "Gallente Frigate BPO", etc.). They'll be coming in the future :) You've taken it a step further, it seems, right down to being able to watch for very specific items; which is definitely and interesting idea. I'll think on it and will update it into my list.

I actually worked on sorting items by column today but I ran into a bit of a... snag, that I need to work out. Has to do with the 'Location' column.
I'll look into adding more columns to the main auction browsing interface; but I want to be careful -- the larger that I make that table the slower the IGB gets, unfortunately... so there is a careful balancing act to be had. Of course if it gets too bad you can always just browse using an OOGB and just use the IGB for quick, simple operations.
The (number of auctions) tag next to New/Current/Completed is an interesting idea -- well, it's a good idea; I just have to decide how to do it so it doesn't have a large performance hit. Onto the list with it. :)
Originally by: "Cute Runner" Maybe you could change the colors on your site a bit so it will be easier to read.
Are you referring to viewing the site through the IGB or through an OOGB browser, Cute Runner? I tried to keep the colours as close to EVE-standard as possible -- if that isn't cool then I could come up with a new colour scheme; but I would like to try and remain as integrated with the colours that EVE uses as possible.
Thanks for your comments and suggestions, everyone. -- Sorai Carbide Industries Proprietor of EVEbay, EVE's free auction house. --

u can change that in your preferences, that already has been done, but read the warning first, since IGB doesnt render very well to much info.

I would love, love to do this. In fact, I tried to do this way back before I ever released the site initially. It ought to be trivial to do; except for that the IGB is terrible at CSS (and in that, I am being charitable) -- even CSS that it claims should work, in the little documentation that I have seen. In sum, to make this actually work, I need to go through all of the templates and update _every_ anchor tag with the styling to remove the underline. If I try global css like "a { }" it works sometimes, and other times it just "forgets" the styling halfway through the page, rendering half of the links without an underline and half with. I tried to figure out what was causing it for a few hours a little while ago; and couldn't come up with even a minimal test case that I can point to in order to reliably recreate the problem. Sometimes the IGB is a little of a PITA.
Nevertheless, it is on my list to be done... whenever I can either make the IGB actually render all the links on a page without an underline; or I can find the time to go through and update every anchor tag manually.
Originally by: "Mealka" Will be nice if the page contains more then 5 items make it 10 ... or 100....
Yes, as Brother Benthor said, that is in the preferences. You can control IGB and OOGB settings individually, as well. Set your OOGB setting to whatever you would like (IIRC it defaults to 20)... your IGB setting is also yours to do with as you wish; but the warning is very true; and the default of 5 is reasonable given the IGB's render speed. I highly suggest you keep it to 10 or under until (perhaps if) the table-handling of the IGB improves. -- Sorai Carbide Industries Proprietor of EVEbay, EVE's free auction house. --

one other thing add a option to display whether a Blue Print is a copy or not, fix what CCP found impossible to do.
that way you don't bid on something you thought was worth a lot more *Embrasses look*

Maybe add options for blueprints that are needed to post the auction. Could include ME and PE, as well as copy or original, and runs left. EVEBay

I must just say: OMG what a splendid work you have done Sorai.
It is ppl like urself that makes Eve what it is. Im just amazed at the work u have pulled on this site. It is from my point an excellent site. I see alot of good suggestions on improvement and ur attitude to these new suggestion is also awsome. Not many ppl have time and skills to pull someting like this off.
I have bought a ship myself on this site and very pleased with the functionality.
As said on the Blueprint division im afraid of bidding on them since i have too little info to see if it is an original or copy. I know i will see this on the escrow, but it is not good bidding on the unknown. faction frigate auction sales |

The auctioner, if that's the word , should state in the comments directly what PE/ME levels are on it. If you win the auction and the person shows up with something different... then it's a bad purchase plain and simple. The system has it's way of dealing with that too.
Good system... time to dig up alot of old piled up stuff and through it on Eve Bay. Nothing like helping something new get a good kick. Eve Guardian - Former Reporter

Thank-you xnder and Shar. :) I've even thought up a way that I would like to implement "adding" information to the CCP item database (in the case of BP's, it would be ME, PE, runs, BPC or BPO, etc.)... now it's just down to implementing it. Unfortunately that little piece of work is waiting on some other things that I am working on now.
I wish I was getting this done faster -- I'd like to roll it out ASAP, and get people's opinions on it; but alas RL work always has to come first. Have to pay for EVE somehow.
Nevertheless; it's coming and then I can get back to crossing off the little tweaks that are building up.
Thanks everyone for your suggestions and thoughts. -- Sorai Carbide Industries Proprietor of EVEbay, EVE's free auction house. --
