that vid shows nothing other then that u got saved by ECM. And shortly after that Phoe lost his ishtar again to concord after attacking one of our haulers. As for u i think u owe Phoe a great thanks as he saved u and i wouldnt give u any credit for the kill. As for me dieing it happens. Everytime i attack someone at a gate there is a chance in looseing but i take it because to me its more exciteing then missions.

I was brousing the forums when i found this post, my bro is posting this for me as my main is takeing a break atm. I remember when first found this game, when i first undocked and spamed everyone on he bouty list. This is when you met me you got lexa a his first kessi. I have now stoped piracy becuse the ony 2 ships left in this game are the domi and the thorax.The things that used to make the gme fun where, buying new things and stuff like that now i cant do anything without billions of isk, i have lost a large amount of enjoiment for this game(mainly becuse c4w3 went awol on me) as theres not enough things that are reserved for the long term players to enjoy. Yes i could go out and gank 3 week old players in there new shiny bs, but so can anyone that can fly a domi. im kinda drunk so im not even sure if i was even understanding your origonal post,but i think im with you

I fully understand your problem. It does seem rather stupid that a 150 mill ship (inkl tech II fitting) doesnt stand a chance against small frigates, not just one ofc. The ECM atm, as mentioned, are one of the problems and as you say yourself, BS`s cant hit the small bastards. On the other hand, if BS`s could hit frigates, no one would use them cause theyll die in one volley.
The cool thing about eve is, although you might be able to pilot a dread, youll still rock in a frigate. Most other mmorpgs miss this part and onced you have moved on with better equipment/mount, youll never use the old one again cause the new stuff is so much better. In eve, people fly different ships at different times, depending on whats needed.
Suggestion; maybe something like small guns vs large (here being BS) does less damage - kind of the reverse missile-system. Plz dont flame; havent thought about it 100%, was simply an impulsive thought :)

In regards to the comment about the bismark being sunk because its guns couldnt track etc, technology has progressed massively and nw BS are packed with weapons can shred missiles and planes quite quickly, computer systems which help chain guns shoot dwn incoming missiles and such so that point is rather mute.

Swisher has been a noob, a miner, a builder, a smacktalker, a thief, a corp thief. Swisher has also done agent missions, npcing, pirated, solo pvp. And what has he earned? respect and disrespect in eve for his work, billions of isk and millions worth of assets in his possession and now a dread in his possession, and possibly another if he wants.
And what have you done in EVE Masta killa?

I feel your pain. I sold off my main PvP dread flying character and moved all my other characters back to Empire where I now focus on T2 production while I figure out what there is left for me to do in this game.
I play very little anymore. I log in, keep my skills training and put stuff on the market. That's about it.
