CCP is not banning BOTs?

GiantJack The Outlaw Pirate Beasts The Pursuit of Happiness 0	Posted - 2014.03.09 18:02:00 - [1] - Quote Hi all im writing here because i dont know what else i can do... i see everyday a botting CNR in my home system... i reported him as bot already about 2 weeks ago and he is still flying missions. some days ago i stole his mission loot 2 times and every time the bot failed and stuck, means he was sitting there for 3-4 hours (until i have to go to sleep) doing nothing... if there is no mission loot im using my macha to bump him away from acc gate that he cannot complete the mission. he never answers me in local when i call his name and say "happy botting again" also he dont answer my mails about 3 days ago i wardeced him and he changed corp i already wrote a petition which got closed instanly with a copy paste answer. why is CCP doing nothing about this? they only want the $ ? i really dont get it think i have to gank him with some tornados

Doing it manually will take a hell of a lot of time, and the number of people authorised to issue bots is likely rather limited. Lot of bots in fw though.

They also don't send out notifications for each account they ban. Send the ticket and move on with your life.

They will only ban when they have physical evidence to support their claim beyond reasonable doubt. The two easiest ways for them to catch botters: - Commands/second are too fast or too consistent for what a human can achieve - Timing between various commands is always perfect, something a human cannot achieve.

However, without definitive evidence, there are enough anti-social, afk at a moment's notice, alt-tabbing, multi-tasking, players that it is probably not worth banning an innocent. Although you would think if the suspected bot is repeatedly trying to loot the mission container (e.g. Worlds Collide) it would be a dead giveaway.
