Because spirits is supposed to be illegal in Amarr and Caldari don't like people running around with personal firearms. Deal with it. Also, only Gallente and Minmatar has any form of democratic elections, and the Minmatar ones are a bit sketchy (meaning I don't know anything about Minmatar gov.). 2. Sec status affects asteroid quality, asteroid types, and quality of NPCs. Also, it's an integral part of route management. 3. This is going to happen, I believe, when the Gallente elections are pulled through. Basically it depends on which one of the three you voted on. You've got a peace-loving one (increased standings to all empires), a status quo, and a war-lovin' old sod (who'll most likely **** off Caldari and Amarr, both, rather quickly by acting like THEM) 4. Again, this is sec status dependant. 5. ... As has been said, EVE politics is very much alive out in 0.0. To be part of it you just have to penetrate the thin layer that is either a) 0.0 entry system gate camps or b) alliance recruitment policies.
