Bartering and Black Market trading are still on the skill list. Do they exist?

Those skills can only be acquired at character creation. Check out the character creation page for what class get them.

Ok, so I am looking at this spreadsheet in Excel, and on the Eve-XML Data tab, there's an I10 field that you apparently have to edit. I have edited it as needed, and I have entered my character # into the yellow field at the top of the page. However, if I try to click the "'I10'XML already Imported? Click here" button, I get the following error:
Run-time error '1004': Method 'range' of object '_worksheet' failed
Am I doing something wrong here?

I encountered the same problem (using Excel 2003). It seems it is failing at all such PasteSpecial on Range.
Are there some steps that we miss?
thanks.

Fixed! It had something to do with the scope of Range() inside a worksheet module. Not sure why it didn't come up during testing or compiling. You can redownload EMDv1406.

OK, I've yet to find out exactly where the second xml file is dl'd from, but there are in fact two. This is why the current XP amount for a currently training skill isn't correct and needs manually adjusting. I've yet to find out exaclty what path this secondary XML sheet is located at, when I do find out I'll send the details along.
the layout of the second xml file is something like:
Quote: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="iso-8859-1" ?> - <charactersheet> - <characters> - <character timeInCache="0" timeLeftInCache="3599985" name="<My char name>" characterID="<My char ID>"> <race><My Race></race> <bloodLine><My Bloodline></bloodLine> <gender><My Gender></gender> <corporationName><My Corp></corporationName> <balance><My ISK Balance></balance> - <attributeEnhancers timeInCache="31" timeLeftInCache="86399969"> - <perceptionBonus> <augmentatorName>Low-grade Slave Alpha</augmentatorName> <augmentatorValue>2</augmentatorValue> </perceptionBonus> - <willpowerBonus> <augmentatorName>Limited Neural Boost</augmentatorName> <augmentatorValue>1</augmentatorValue> </willpowerBonus> - <charismaBonus> <augmentatorName>Limited Social Adaptation Chip - Beta</augmentatorName> <augmentatorValue>2</augmentatorValue> </charismaBonus> - <memoryBonus> <augmentatorName>Low-grade Slave Beta</augmentatorName> <augmentatorValue>2</augmentatorValue> </memoryBonus> - <intelligenceBonus> <augmentatorName>Limited Cybernetic Subprocessor</augmentatorName> <augmentatorValue>1</augmentatorValue> </intelligenceBonus> </attributeEnhancers> - <attributes> <intelligence>11</intelligence> <charisma>6</charisma> <perception>7</perception> <memory>8</memory> <willpower>7</willpower> </attributes> - <skillTraining> - <skill typeID="<Skill ID>" trainingStartTime="31/05/2006 05:39:56" trainingEndTime="31/05/2006 13:18:39"> <characterID><My Char ID></characterID> <startSP><SP of skill when I started training that skill></startSP> <destinationSP><SP for next lvl></destinationSP> <trainingToLevel><Next lvl></trainingToLevel> </skill> </skillTraining> </character> </characters> </charactersheet>
I'm trying to extract from someone exactly how you get that file... so far no luck... but I am trying. I'll update folks with any progress made.

It has always worked correctly for me, but I'll keep an eye on it. Is it for a particular ship? Does anyone else have this error? I know there was a problem with v14.02 that was looking up the wrong column, but I fixed it for v14.03.

No, this happens for any ship. The "time to train" is the value the is entered into field with the original formula. It should be the base speed.

No, this happens for any ship. It might be a difference between versions of Excel. I am using the Excel that is included in MS Office 2003 Pro, because there is a one-off error in all VLOOKUP cells. I will check it out when I get home.
Just to confirm I got the same thing. But there are some other things too, such as the fact I have a magical raven that has 4 launcher hard points, 5 turret hard points, and can lock a maximum of 75 targets at a distance of up to 923.9km. However I am a bit worried as I have no armour HP and 115 structure HP. This is very disappointing about the 0 armour HP becuase it wastes the 46000% EM resistance that my armour has.
Also those small and medium turret damage bonuses will come in handy for killing frigs although I may make use of the rocket and standard missile bonuses instead.
Interstingly I can control 4 heavy drones that I cannot use but can only send them to 20K out with my 4 levels of scout drone operation.
Could you please fix this problem in the ships tab. Other than this the sheet is coming along very nicely.

Retsil Evad: I'll look in to it again.
Sorry I haven't posted lately, I was sick most of last week and being busy at work cuts in to my EMD spreadsheet time.
I hope to have version 14.07 out soon with lots of updates, which is why it is taking me so long. I also have a new ore/ice mining sheet that you enter how many minerals you need, what astroids are available to you to mine and then it will tell you the best astroids amounts for mining - even how long it will take you to mine all your minerals. I'm not completely happy with the mining sheet so it is still a work in progress.

I've noticed since the static data patch on Tuesday that the EMD is not picking up any implants you have installed, but then neither is EveMon so this could be a server side issue...

Because the implant information is not in the XML. Let us hope they put that back in soon!

I sent you a screenshot via email. The error really doesn't matter anymore since you changed the Bonus sheet.

Something strange I noticed in the OpenOffice version.
The skill "Repair Drone Operation" seems broken on the Skills sheet. It shows a blank value for the skill points required and a time of zero. Entering a skill points value effectively breaks the sheet's calculation.

That is another annoying issue with OpenOffice. Right click on the Rank for Repair Drone and click on 'Format Cells...' Change the Category to Number. Click on OK and in change the value from '3 to just 3. That should fix it! I'll also upload the quick fix.
Merlin Kilor: Thank you! I found out I had added an extra column on the Ships sheet (column D) for the ship hull type. If you remove that column it will fix the Bonus sheet. Lucky v14.07 doesn't have that problem.

People who have the capital remote armor repair systems skill causes the excel file to return a error and only read 'some' of the sp's.
for example, past this into mechanics and you'll see
Quote:
<skill typeName="Capital Remote Armor Repair Systems" typeID="24568"> <groupID>269</groupID> <flag>7</flag> <rank>10</rank> <skillpoints>2500</skillpoints> <level>1</level> <skilllevel1>2500</skilllevel1> <skilllevel2>14143</skilllevel2> <skilllevel3>80000</skilllevel3> <skilllevel4>452549</skilllevel4> <skilllevel5>2560000</skilllevel5> </skill>
if you delete this from the xml file, then it will load correctly

LLeBRing: Here is your quick fix if you want to do it your self. Change the skill name(cell A175) from "Capital Remote Armor Repair" to "Capital Remote Armor Repair Systems". Then click on Tools in the menu bar -> Macros -> Run Macro, select Cell_Label_Maintenance and click Ok. That will update the look up labels for you. All set!
I'll also upload the fix this evening when I get home from work, cause I can't use Tripod from work for what ever reason. Jublie JellyBean! Keeper of EVE Master Datasheet. Thread: here |

Another bug in the OpenOffice version:
The "can learn?" fields have their effects inverted between Fighters and Gallente Drone Specialization.
The fix is to go to cells D20 and D21 in the Skill Descriptions sheet and invert the cells they refer to in the formulas.

I cant get this new version (1407) to import the data. I just keep getting Query failed to connect message. Is anyone else having this problem or know how to get around it? It still works ok in 1405 when I use the I10 method, but I cant get even that method to work in 1407
PS This spreadsheet is the best spreadsheet I have ever worked with

I have the same problem, and use the same fix (Stick to 14.05). I'm trying to solve it, by copying the data from my 14.05 sheet to the 14.07 sheet, but I can't find the rigth info to copy. As to the promises of 14.07 I like the Formatting of the skills, i've fitled around with some similar things, because I focus mostly on maxing the skills. So I've added a format that greys out the skill once it's learned to level 5. I like to see something like that for 14.08. I use the "conditioned formatting -> Formula is (=$H162=0)" use pattern 2. from rigth". Sorry to sound a bit weird here, what is does is check the value in colum "H" to see if I've maxed the skill (=0 or less), if so it adds a pattern to the cell with black dots, so I can still see the skill name and other info, but it kinda fades to the background. I've also modified the cell A9 to something like [=SAMMENK¦DNING("You have learned ";COUNT.IF(C14:C334;"<>0");" skills of which you have maxed out ";COUNT.IF(C14:C334;"=5");" skills from a total of ";COUNT(C14:C334);" skills and have ";((COUNT.IF(C14:C334;"<>5")-4)-(T¦L.HVIS(C14:C334;"<>0")));" to learn and ";(COUNT.IF(C14:C334;"<>5")-4);" remaining to max out!")]
But I'm looking forward to use 14.07 as it looks a lot better then 14.05 infowise. _______________________________________________ Still waiting for ingame voice, with sound modifications for RP effort. _______________________________________________ |
