Eve is far from a game where players simply shoot each other, mine and build corporate tycoons or exlpore missons and strange new worlds. Its all of these at the same time. A living community of possibilities and personalities each different from the next and not bounded by anything less than a players imagination. The political aspect of the game is just as important as any DN ever flown or outpost estabilshed. Though the mothers day weekend took me away from most of the action, both political and pvp, I was very glad to review the end results and find that they very much matched everything we had been discussing since last weekend. For those of you wondering, there was no huge monetary settlements or anythingof that nature. Just smart common ground issues that benefit both sides and with long term developement potential for the area. For the CC this has never been about isk its always been about recognition. CC is a small and relatively new alliance. Many have joked that we don't matter. They say we're too small or too weak. They say we live in NPC station that we hide in them all the time. We did not beat the juggernaught called the ISS. That did not happen. But together with our brothers/sisters in the CDC we made it stop and pause. No big alliance helped us, no mercs were hired. It was just us. We earned they're respect and that was worth every isk we put into it. To all ISS I'll be looking forward to our new possibilities and adventures as NAP'd friends. Thankyou again and good travels to you all on a much shorter route to empire. Bach

Well, ISS are by definition neutral. I would have serious doubts with all of your actions around this time, since 2 days later you shoot down a noob corp member in empire and claim that iss has the right to do so and STILL be neutral. Here is that fact: At no time during the ZX seige did I consult with anyone from IAC for advice. Having a usable factory station located in the middle of Catch is a very valuable thing to be able to use. 70% time off anything we build. Easy access to material storage, good npc belts, complexes and in the frontier where before the nearest usable station was 6 jumps away. Its not any conspiracy. The settlement just makes good bussiness sense. I'm looking forward to opening up some markets there myself to collect on the benefits of our friendship with the ISS.

Our primary focus is infrastructure and development. Continuing to fight when there is an amicable solution on the table, is just holding a grudge, and goes against everything we are setting out to achieve. Whilst I'm sad to see Butter Dog leave ISS, he's found a corp who have proven their ability in combat. -- We are recruiting
