The AT prize ships for this year are all but confirmed to be guristas, using condor and blackird models http://imgur.com/a/QMLblhttp://i.imgur.com/WvZRRp9.jpgNote the placeholder model for a T2 Venture (Prospect) as well as skinned versions of all the ORE ships.
Ah, that should be neat! New Guristas stuff is quite fresh, the T2 Ventre I was aware of.

"more advanced". Pirate/navy faction ships are not more advanced really, just tech 1 variants. Tech 2 and tech 3 would be more advanced versions of ships, though considering the amount of work and testing involved with adding a new type of tech 3s, I imagine we're going to have a new tech 2 series of some hull, playing a new role. |

There's always the Orca, and industrials are traditionally so poorly tanked it'd not be worth it, but it'd be interesting. If there were a ship that could move 5-10 fitted frigates around without being a gank magnet, that would be really cool.
I have suggested a ship like that a couple of years back. It's a hauler for fitted ships [because: rigs], that cannot serve as a carrier [in that it can't launch ships, it can only haul them].
This ship would be useful to haul lots of ships when a pilot is moving [part of] their inventory to a new location. It would also be useful for alliances to cart around all manner of ships after production, for a large alliance war, what have you.
This would be a really good ship to have and many pilots would add it to their inventory for its usefulness. Also, it would be risky to fly one when it's full of ships... risk/reward
I'm hoping it's this one. It should be able to carry everything up to and including fully-fitted battleships. -ONLY- to haul them, not as a carrier. |

Where was the announcement for the (tentative) new ships? I'm really (really) hoping for a missile-based attack battlecruiser and a missile-based Pirate class. I am currently away, traveling through time and will be returning last week. |

That's too easy.
A) a flying Exotic Table Dance Bar B) an Iteron Mk VI with a special bay for Fuel Blocks (industry theme!) C) 4 racial T2 Command Destroyers (along with the long awaited links-must-be-on-grid-change)

There are TONS of ships that already have models and paint. There is no reason to base speculation off of that. |

Low impact- t2 venture, the modified ship model is already in the client.
Advanced versions- t2 versions of the new destroyers. They're the only racial sub BS hulls that don't have a t2 iteration yet. The talwar and the corax definitly fit the 'popular' thing as well.
Void- this one's a wildcard I think. Could be a covops logi (no more using a logi pilgrim ), could be a t2 orca of some kind. Could be anything. |

Rhavas, since you're the guy who wrote up the three-witches post, I feel like you're smarter than this. For one thing, you've got at least 7 ships here there if you're expecting 4 new battleships.
If we take as given that the low-impact ships are the AT prizes, that gives us 4 ships left to work with. We know at least one of them is an advanced upgrade to a popular ship. Meanwhile, we also know that at least one is not an advanced version of a ship that is already popular. I'm betting that the missing niche is going to be filled by the three witches you posted about, which leaves us one advanced ship. Even if we had four to work with, I really don't think we're going to get more T3s of any sort until they figure out what they actually want to do with the existing T3s, which are very powerful but I'd say are still at least somewhat controversial. The only singleton ships out there that could get a T2 treatment are from ORE. I don't know how popular the Venture is, but we've found a T2 Venture model, and apparently even a name for it.
That just leaves the three witches. My money is still on Caldari/Minmatar missile pirates, but I also don't know the lore very well, so I have essentially no handle on what might be going on with the Boundless Creation news items. Given the number of times people have asked about a true missile pirate faction, I'm finding that a lot more likely... |

Hmm,
New industrial something (dedicated gas harvester)(real combat barge)(dedicated ship mover)
New pirate faction using the missing combo
New Tech II... something or Tech III Frigate/BS
my guesses. |
