Hmm, I signed for a 14 day free trial. Funny thing is, the email for the key (along with a little getting started thingy) is all in English.
Kinda strange to give Chinese players instructions in English, lol.
1 hour left on client download, will post pics of me introducing Chinese players to piracy

ok a few points the rest of asia (not china) ie japan sth korea can and will continue to use TQ - that said will chinesse IPs now be blocked from TQ and restricted to the chinesse shard - just wondering if this is the fact as i have met a few real chinesse players on TQ (not the farmers either) they mostly have played from shangai and hong kong. Will these peeps now be put onto the other one and not TQ ?
Also as for us aussies we are fine for TQ lol.

Not read the whole thread so forgive me if I'm repeating.

I saw a suggestion that Aussies might want to use the China cluster. No thanks, not with their play restrictions and there is more lag from here to China than from here to London. Eve is very playable in Aus as is, even on a 28kb radio modem. That and personally I don't read / write Chinese too well.
Now here is an interesting matter. Given the timezones and the fact there is no need to update servers similtaneously why not patch the China cluster first. With nearly double the users and double the load you'd be able to find bugs & issues quicker and delay deployment on Tranquility until they are fixed.

Question: is the china eve the same as our eve? I mean do skills train the same is it the same game just chinese text and such, ect..

Good God they're taking goonfleet to a whole new level!
BTW, has anybody thought what effect the chinese server will have on lag in general? Think about it, they're going to have MUCH MUCH more simultaneous players on their server then we will on ours, and as such the lag there will probably be much greater. CCP is going to have to optimize the game more, hopefully not just throw more YARRRRDWARE! at it, to compensate for the added stress.
And since the servers are mirror's of each other, we get the benefits of that, makes us even more lag free! \o/

server localy in the country without having 500ms pingtimes
and damit, i wish i could get an account there and get
a lot of research agents.. just thing of the first week
of seeding T2 bpos . Bet someone gets a Capr II bpo
