This is no offical post or something it is my own willing to post this to somehow eas the pain inside me....
About 1.5 to 2 years back in Eve i met a special person in Eve. I knew she was special cuz she stand out so much from the rest of the normal eve-players. Not only that she was a girl but the way she simpley "were". She made me laugh, she made me embarssed in front of the rest in swedish channel. She smacked at people that she dident like in a way that impressed me very much. She was a fighter right out to her fingertops. I dunno why she decided to be friend with me, but maybe she discovered I¦m abit unnormal then a usuall eve-player or i dunno.
After getting to know her I felt like we had a special connection and we could talked about almost everything. We talked about her boyfriends my "non-existing" lovelife , how to evolve our playing in eve and last, how to "touch yourself" best. And everyday i started to know her better i relized she really cared for the ones she loved both in-game and RL. She took the time to lead her corpmates and help them and grow. And when people grows thats when a corp grows. This style of leading others made me wanting her to join our newly formed alliance Chimera Pact. When she joined she contiuned help the alliance grow and evolve it to something big. She manage to get big respect from the old lads in the alliance council by her hard work.
But today it dosent matter any longer. She is not alive anymore. Someone from above decided that this good and loving person dosent deserve to live longer. She got cancer at a age of 20, a fatal one. She kept quiet about and kept fighting in silence as a figher she is/were. But a couple mounths back she let the whole alliance know what happend her. And last saturday at 03:45 she lost the fight. Louise as her real name is or in game knowed as Shandra Nuy¦kani or for you real old players Hitgirl will leave a big hole that i feel nobody can fill up. I still feel ill everytime i think about it, why a innocent sweet girl at age of 20 get this kind of faith? Why cant a man who take advantages on kids etc etc get this cancer, WHY HER!!!!!?????
I feel i can¦t possible do anything to honor her in a justified way. Nameing a station is not enuf, naming a system after her? maybe but still not near... But to try and honor her in someway I will at first of July at 17:00 eve-time stop with whatever i do, in-game or inreal life and take 1 minute of silence. Under this minute my thoughts will go to her, her family and those who she loved and loved her. And I hope many will join me in this moment of silence, even if you dont know her, take 1 minute off and think about your family and beloved. It is not much to demand, think about what you got and appriciate it.
But if i know Louise right she dont want us to just sit and die in sorrow, we have to continue with our lives, i will eventually. And if i know Hitgirl right she sits outside the gates of heaven in her sniping ship ready gank innocent bypassers, just as she harasd many of us in this eve-community. She was a fighter and she will continue to be it, so when i get to the gates i hope she reminds me and spare me 1 clone..
RIP
(Vi alla frsn eve kommer sakna dig, livet e ss J-VLA OR-TTVIST!!!!!!!)

Cancer is a very tough disease and particularly tough when it affects young people with their entire lives in front of them.
My sincerest condolances to her real life and in-game family and friends.

In times like this, everything in this game becomes irrelevant and brought in to prospective that it's just a game. My condolences and may she rests in peace.

From fighting me in Syndicate to fighting alongside me in Detorid and Immensea, Louise, the world is a sadder place now you are gone.
I will be asking all Crisis Corp pilots to respect this silence, thanks for the post Ace, I am always at a loss for words in how to display my sorrow, but you summed it up well.

My heartfelt condolences.
I am a cancer survivor myself, I was diagnosed at 19 and went through it for three years. Cancer is not a fun thing, especially at that age.
I am sad to hear that she didn't make it, sounds like she was fighting hard. |

Edited by: Mazikeen Lilim on 28/06/2006 17:32:14 I know your pain, Ace. From your words she sounds like a very special person indeed and I can only regret that I wasn't so lucky to meet her. I am sure I could have learned a thing or two from her, as could anybody else. Such will and selflessness are rare. You are right to want to honour her and I will try to do the same. On the first of July, let us make this game a little better. Let us try to respect each other a little more and remember that each and everyone of us has a value as a human being.

i remember Hit Girl of old, and although i didn't know her well at all she always had a smiley and a good attitude.
A sore loss when people pass, especially that young.
