We're getting the rest of the CQ's, so now it should be plain sailing to concentrate on the rest of WiS and get that moving. |

Said it before and ill say it again, blobbing is not a mechanics issue, it has to do with human nature. The ONLY mechanic you can use to twart blobbing is having arena style PvP where the number of participants is limited. Yes, lets repeat that, if you don't limit the number of participants in PvP there will always be blobbing, period.
well area dmg based on hp of the destroyed ship... will not work but its an nice idea....
blob of 2k battleships one on another you destroy three and rest will just explode due to chain reaction.
As i said not gonna happen since maneuverability at big blobs is very limited.
Anyway biggest problem with EVE is that people plays it. And people are pure nuts, ****** up beyond borders. |

the faction warfar is a big one..
Getting level 4 missions to use sleeper/sancha AI would be nice. High sec level 4 tpye missions that require a group(similar payout to level 4 per pilot) Sactums in 0.0 need to be more intresting as well. 10/10 complexes are not common enough to really claim you have any group 0.0 pve content. So some group content here would be nice.
Also roaming gangs have to roam to far...going 30 jumps to find a fight is silly.
Need more-ádecent content a casual player can access in a 1-2h play period that is actually fun and contributes to long term personal and corp goals. This applies to PvE and PvP. |

What would you call an open wound of eve? A feature that needs an overhaul in it's mechanics the big issue that needs a team working on it for 6 months.
Eve griefing - unfair pvp tactics, station games, bad aggro (getting better), scamming, spamming, logoffski (which will be solved)
Eve PvP - no matter how you like it, it's sucky. Warp engine should be removed. No warp offski in PvP fights.
Eve botting - really kills eve for many, gives edge to others.
Fix eve's PvP and get thousands of subscribers who will enjoy something smarter than today. Really.

Separate the empires with lowsec, giving several avenues to traverse between them. Safe way = long way (such as going the highsec route between Amarr and Rens. Making travel slower can help make more, smaller trade hubs other than Jita.
Security level in lowsec should fluctuate. Put pirate missions in lowsec. Give rewards that are bountiful but not available in hisec, such as boosters and even special ship classes. Enhance smuggling as a career or mission path. Put pirate corps in faction war.

Complete pos rework... Current system is broken beyond repair... The current patch attempts to fix it at least a bit are not enough. It's not a paper cut, it's a broken limb dangling on the remains of the flesh that didn't get run over by that truck that is trying to back up right now. Jumping into a system > right clicking {celestial} to see "Show Info" as the game has not caught up do to a weird hesitation in the session change. Make the menu refresh itself and not close after session change maybe? That or don't let me open the menu till it's caught up. Logging off restarts client instead of going to character selection screen. Strategic cruisers unable to refit in strategic places, such as POS's. Unable to re-package in corp hangars. Corp management UI Creating jobs in science and industry. The screen should remember the last installation and the button should automatically take you to the list of assembly lines based on the last installation you used.
The idea that we can't have a "radar" is absurd. Keep it running all the time, fail to watch it at your own peril.
I'll add WHY repackage? just stack the damn modules, if something is broken/damaged, give it a red hue and don't stack it. Let us eat cake! -áI mean open containers in corp hangers please ... Let us stack all modules (eliminate repackaging), except damaged ones, give them a red hue/icon. Let us see damaged drones in our drone bay!

Looks like this carebear need to get in a dictor and leave high sec.
They are not at all invulnerable, just stop failing so much.
I want to see a sub system for T3 that lets you act like a HIC/DIC. Then my invulnerable Cloaky nullifier can bubble your ass. |

It isn't a problem per se, more of a conceptual issue. EVE's biggest problem (imo) is it's stale. Many of the working features have little variation in themselves. You see similar concepts, similar implementations ... same old same old. Case in point, the POCO intro, PI and even the sov mechanics.
Destruction/anarchy is the main theme that drives player behaviour.
Now, CCP thinks WiS is the holy grail that they've been looking for to complete the game. While yes, it certainly expands the scope of gameplay; it isn't the holy grail.
The holy grail for EVE is being able to mesh the elements of destruction, grind, in-game world that feels alive (not dumb NPC), in-game consumerism (more natural isk/material sinks) and in-game empire building/cooperative play into a fine balance. They concentrate too much on the first two, leaving the rest to atrophy.
Much of the current gameplay mechanics is locked in legacy mode that it is very hard for many of the above to thrive. Trust is hard due to the crude mechanics. The closest I've seen cooperative play in action is the incursion community. It's pretty popular once you get the hang of it - sometimes with random acts that totally goes against the EVE's "kill or be killed" motif. Drama pops out now and then (or this isn't really EVE), but by whole, the cooperation hammered by random players (who are strangers to each other) in the BTL/TDF agreements is a testament - that given the right environment, you can get random people to cooperate for the greater good. Making them hide their knives (temporarily) and having them play nice is fairly refreshing
Hire/consult non-Western game designers. The differences in creative ideas and insights will be the incubator to a better EVE for the future. When you source your ideas from only one hemisphere, the results are generally blander.
