Wow,
Just wow. I just hope that you Sparta guys fight in game as well as you fight on the forums! We'd be in for one hell of war if wasn't for the fact that we'd be facing 100 Ibises because you guys are so scared to POST WITH A MAIN.
Pointless discussion going on here. IRON guys get in game and fight them, leave Sparta to hide behind there alts whining on the forums.

Find me a chatlog, announcement, eve-mail or TS recording which supports that and i'll draw IRON off Deklein right now.
Of course I'm more than happy to post the chatlog I had with the Sparta leadership the other night if that will clear this up. Its quite the read, you get to see IRON honour it's word that Sparta will keep their stations and territory, followed by Sparta announcing their claim on VFK/JU and admitting that they hired X13 on themselves to make us look bad.
Coupled with the mail that I sent out to the NFC leadership before this all kicked of it would make a great addition to that un-biased account everyone keeps asking for...
Truth is, every leader in this region knows why we're here but not one of them has the bottle to admit it to their own members.
And you all wonder why we won't make an official annoucement :)

I wonder what FLA bought with the 30 pieces of silver that they received from Iron for helping them start this.
All was peacefull until Iron showed up again. D2 had help from its allies to defend its borders, NFC, FLA and Sparta were in D2 gangs.

... i think D¦ wouldn't have set SPARTA to -10 if they didn't NAP the goons - i had the impression that the D¦ lead wasn't pleased by the whole mess in deklein ... but would have tried to sort it out with peacetalks ... or at least stay out of this conflict - both sides (IRON/FLA & NFC/SPARTA) were blue to us ... do you really expect to sort such problems with military forces?
At first it was an infight of allied alliances, do you expect we prefer one side over another side? i don't hope so - but when the goons entered the scheme - the decision was easy.

I think that d2 may rue the fact that they could have sorted it out just by saying 'stop' to all concerned. Once this mess is over whoever is left will be weak and ready for conquest leaving the mightly d2 alone and on the back foot.
Everybody is blaming each other but the truth is that only 1 alliance had the power to stop it getting out of hand

Anyways, in my short time in fade i got to play with some SPARTA and respect them, albiet many were STEMP. I guess this game revolves around drama tho =)

Wow this thread is like some cheap soap opera on TV. As well as about as true to real happenings from some quarters 
I've had very little dealings with Sparta till recently and took them at their word they would stay neutral in this, but the level of backstabbing is truly amazing (especially to your former friends in D2) hell i'm annoyed at what you've done to them I can only imagine how they feel about you 
Also agree with Rytir's post looks like we have few alt fanboi's makes me feel all special that someone hates us so much

I am not exactly an alt as most of my corp know who I really am and so will a load of other corps out there in the universe. At the end of the day who cares as I am still going to get out there in my ship and do the best I can alongside my Sparta team mates, I am not afraid to lose my ship...all of them in fact.
Regarding the history between D2 and Sparta...whatever, I don't care about it. Over the last few weeks I had seen a decline in the relationships between us and them, we would try to take a stand against something and they would muscle in and say "don't do it or else", so we didn't...then we get rumours of our pilots flying through Venal and D2 would pipe up and say "get out of Venal or we will shoot you", so our boys got out of Venal. Little things which build up over time leave you feeling a little jaded thinking "with friends like these...etc".
The simple truth is that we didn't want to be friends with D2 any more. NAP'ing Goons and setting D2 to negative may not be the best way to dive right in and say that we have had enough. It might have been better to take baby steps and say "ok D2, we're setting you to neutral and severing our ties, good luck in the future etc."...that might have worked but hey, it is what it is...no going back now. It might also have been better to get us through the IRON/FLA fiasco first too.
Sink or swim I will follow my orders, I like Sparta and I like Deklein. There are many, many good people here in spite of all the nastiness and tubthumping to suggest the opposite. I wish the communication from the top was better but you can't have everything. I also understand that too much talk leads to indecisiveness and at least we made a decision based on our gut feeling so kudos for that. Respect also to those alliances and corps who have thrown their hat into the ring and taken a stand on either side, at least it stops all the muttering and cloak and dagger ****.
It's a jungle out there...

You just NAP'ed a KNOWN PIRATE ALLIANCE.
Yeah, you heard me, might not mean much to you big 0.0 boyos, but down here in Placid, goon likes to attempt to pirate, any goon, anywhere, is KOS.
Now that some of my friends are now in Sparta (ORC), I do not know how to react to this.
ORC has always been a staunch supporter of Anti-piracy, yet now... what am I to think? Do they support this move, or are they as disgusted by the blatant disregard to EVEverse wide policies.
I completely understand D2's positioning, this is all about the trav incident, and frankly, after reading this, and having friends in the NFC alliance, I am not surprised it fell.
It's leadership had little control over their corps, apparently, and could not work out a minor dispute over Goon invasion, who are at the moment the real threat.
I hope, that Sparta's leadership realize the huge mistake they are making. If they do not this could reverbrate around many low sector zones.

as far as I understand it. NFC wanted their cake and too eat it. FLA said no, with the help of IRON they were hurting NFC alot.
From a post earlier, it looks like both sides attempted to hire MC.
I would guess that NFC disbanded mainly because they were about to go pop anyway what with MC up in the area.
So NFC join SPARTA and try to take the entire area and napping the GOONS hoping to force everyone to surrender only to make veryone angry at their behavior and give themselves a mortal wound. All we have to do is wait till see how long they take to die.
Im curious how much help the GOONS can actually be what with their fights with D2.
Will be fun to watch.
