technically.. they said they wanted FLA space too. meaning they wanted all of dek for themselves.
funny thing is, we would have been happy if they'd just stayed out of it like they did in the beginning. the major NFC corps joining sparta was pushing it, but if they (sparta) had just stayed up in the two constellations to the west of dek this could have been settled.
but no, i guess the addition of a few more corps meant they would have to have the whole of dek to be able to survive.. hmm. survive? wrong word i guess.

Easy to say that though when you know full well that goonies will not come into Dek and you will not go into any region held by goonies thanks to a cosy little OOG agreement between KHM and Goonies.

Actually they told us the next day they cant ensure that. So in that regard, all bets are off. I for one was hoping we could keep them at a point of just staying out of it personally.

Except G told FE, NBSI and PA months before that they were not allys of G anymore. So G had no obligation to help them.
And since you don't seem to know G promised to help FE but they were already in such bad shape they couldn't wait a week and napped .5.. That settled it.

if sparta leadership didn't see taking those stations as declaring war on fla/iron i think you need smarter leadership.

Just to clarify, FREEE had no intentions of shooting Sparta. Once NFC went down, we pulled back to Fade to help out in I-UU. Although we had not engaged Sparta, they had no problems setting us -10, and shooting one of our pilots. Even so, we still came to an agreements that we had bigger fish to fry and we would stay out of it.
It's unfortunate that our long-time friends chose this path, but what's done is done.

wow.. so thats two miner alliances fighting eachother (sparta + IRON) and now D2 and Goons brought into it. Gl to all sides the next few weeks will be very interesting to see.

Well considering both parties were our allies, what would you have had us do? Choose one over the other? Or stay nuetral?
Frankly Sparta is in this mess because in large part they expected D2 to drop everything and come running to thier aid when ever asked. No matter that doing so would have ment D2 would have been attacking a long time ally. Not to mention simply packing up and leaving Cloud Ring to the goons.
Which is why I made the post earlier. If you believe the tripe thats being feed to you by your leaders, just stop for a moment. Use some common sence. It can't be a grand leap of logic to see why D2 did what they did.

Its a dam shame when so many corps and alliances are basing there -10 standings on a one sided arguement, Sparta are refraining from replying to iron/d2/fla replies, yet sparta has not given responses.
Maybe at this time it would be futile to do so, as so many have taken sides with iron and co. So bye bye common sense, bye bye understanding..
I hope sparta survives this, based on the propganda that iron and co are feeding it maybe too late for any alliances to trust them based on irons efforts.

Firstly may i say, SPARTA are not the bad allies, they seem to have helped when ever D2 asked, but when they ask, nobody came to their aid(apart from their enemies suprisingly, goons). Further more for the comment about 50 ninjas VS 300 retards, the ninjas are getting their ass wooped. I would like to chat a little bit about IRON/FLA but seen as the cant fight battles by themselfes they dont seem worthy of it. Also about the comment from the TRIOPTIOM guy who says sparta will burn, what do they know, they got whooped by gaia. Good Luck and God Speed SPARTA.
Hopefully you will find more luck with your new allies.
