I think it would be cool if eve supported the Logitech G15 LCD screen.
It could show like:
-what skill your training and how much time is left
-money
-latest transactions
-shield, armor, and structure dmg in percents
-waypoints infos
-how full your cargo space is
-mission info
Thoughs are my ideas on what it can show.

I think its a great idea, being the owner of a G15 myself, and I know 2 other EVE players who have G15 and would love intergrated support. Even just the ability to show the total remaining shield, armor and capacitor would be great. Or it could show your current skill in training and wallet, which would be amazing.

seeing how i'm geeky enough to have one as well (Cmon, it looks nice, plays nice, and the lcd screen lets you see the title of the p0rn movie yer watching..... )

current skill training and time left could be done through modding EVEMon though, Anooyin ... the rest would be sweet though.

Couldn't CCP just open up the client a bit... maybe put some export ability into the running game stats. That way if none of the devs wanted to do it... someone else could. And none of the export data would be against the EULA of having something that gives a player a leg up on others, as the player of the game already has that data.

Rather than supporting one piece of hardware, a small SDK that opened up some data would be more universally useful.
Plugins could easily be written then for the G15, or for those small independent LCD screens that some people use, or even for the upcoming Optimus OLED keyboards, or for any other fancy display hardware that comes along in the future.

I just got my G15, and have started working on support for the LCD screen. Before I go any further on it, I have submitted a petition to CCP to try to figure out if I would be breaking the EULA by writing the applet. Based on their previous petition response times, I am not expecting to hear back from them for a few months... :-)
My wishlist for display:
Time until skill done (I want this on full time, even when the eve client isn't running)
Damage inflicted per second
Damage taken per seond
Whether or not you have been scrambled
Cap level and change per second
Shield/armor/hull HP %
Some basic TS info (who is currently talking)
