No one doubted that the medical clone will work. The active jumping into a jump clone was the issue Noriko pointed out. Obviously after-death-spawn and jumping are 2 different mechanics. Living in the hole and having a med clone to revive in is logical - but being able to jump into unknown-space -which wormholes are - is a different thing.

And how do you suggest you exchange gear or other things to your buddies in that station? Magic? You don't need a guest tab list to trade. Any chat window, the fleet window, your contact list, market transaction history, killmail, anywhere you can link or do a show info on another player you can right click -> trade to them.
Even if you cannot see such a link you can create one. Just type their name in a chat window eg local, without actually posting it, then highlight the name, right click -> create link -> character.
You just need to know they are there. If that means you can't spam random people at will, well that is a bonus in my books.

IGÇÖve had a quick look through the thread and canGÇÖt see much on scanning in Thera so for anyone interested these are my finding so far. Sorry for the long post I canGÇÖt really do a Tl-dr itGÇÖs not my way GÇÿold schoolGÇÖ is my excuse.
The one thing posted about this site is its GÇÿvastGÇÖ as in big and until I started scanning I didnGÇÖt realise just how big.
I was scanning in a Helios and looking for anomalies, I make a safe spot near a planet and drop a GÇÿpin-pointGÇÖ set of probes. Flip over to the probe view and hit a GÇÿwhere are my probesGÇÖ moment, if it wasnGÇÖt for the arrows it would have taken longer to find them. They are in the centre of the screen just visible in amongst the orbit lines. I think wow this is some system.
I drag out the probes to maximum size and they barely cover the inner planets let alone the system. Dragging them to a known position (as in I know IGÇÖll find something here because of previous experience) I get a faint hit, now the real problems start. Because (anyone who does regular scanning will know) you not only have to move probes sideways but also up and down you have to rotate the plan view to side on view to achieve this.
However because the system is so vast you have to scroll out, rotate and back in again to locate and move the probes, repeat this each time you re-scan the area and you can see scanning will take some time to complete each GÇÿfindGÇÖ. I spent quite some time scrolling out, right drag area into view, adjust probes, scroll in, adjust probes, use right and left click and drag to centre the view, then scan area and remember this is only scanning a small section of Thera at a time.
So I find a wormhole and close down scanning to warp to GÇÿhave a lookGÇÖ, I then hit the next problem and one everyone is going to have to take into consideration. It took two cap charges to reach the wormhole as I couldnGÇÖt do it in one. It took another two charges to reach my GÇÿhome stationGÇÖ ready to log off for the server re-boot.
This system is big, it will be interesting to see how it works out in the long term, I have little doubt by the end of the first day all static GÇÿoutletsGÇÖ will be mapped, but finding the elusive ones will be the fun and need good scanning skills.

I've spent a few days in Thera and I'm finding the system is far too bright, it's so bright that after undocking to fight I have to spend time moving the camera around positioning it onto a dark spot just so I can find things in space, just my opinion but I'm finding it very annoying.
Overall I think Thera is a great idea, I love the stations and layout and this is my only gripe so far. Great job.

I like the idea of the new shattered wormhole systems but I feel like the Wolf-Rayet effect is a poor choice for the frigate holes. It pretty much makes drones irrelevant as they do not receive the small weapon damage bonus.
When I first heard about them I was really looking forward to taking my Astero in these holes. |

I feel as though maybe Thera is a bit TOO big. I get that you don't want us to be able to lock down the entire system, but I think that a system half the size would still be hard to lock down. Right now larger ships are facing several minutes of warp time, and that's pretty bad.
If you want to keep the stations clear, set the station guns to blap any aggressors, so that people can't camp the stations. Having tons of wormholes should solve the problem of hole camps. Have the system a free for all in general but make the stations safe havens so people are actually encouraged to use them. Otherwise I can't possibly see this being a "Jita of wormholes" |

Red Teufel wrote:only 4 stations are you kidding me? So only 4 entities will have control and there will be so much bubbling station camps it will be a broken system. If you really want it to work the way you envisioned it to you'll need to add like 20 stations and all of them 300au apart with several planets in between. You'll also need to bar all bubbles including dictor bubbles from the system.

^^ THIS. Would be nice to have reasonably powerful station guns to keep them clear, but everywhere else in system as a free for all. Station camping will absolutely be a thing w/ the current setup, which will deter people from being there. |

After spending a little time in Thera....
1 - Way too bright, I would even say it's blinding.
2 - Too small. If you are going to make it big, then make it big. Something like 1000au would be interesting.
3 - Sleeper plex's are a nice touch. Could be more. It would be interesting if they only show up on the overview within a certain range. This would work especially well with a larger system. System diameter of like 500 au and the plex's only show up if you are within maybe 100 au. Could even add plex's further outside the system that only show up if a pilot is at some location on the outer edge of the system. Like maybe need to warp to one sleeper plex in order to get to plex's further out.
4 - Rayet effect is interesting but as others have pointed out it kind of shuts out a lot of ships.
5 - Nonessential combat makes it kind of difficult to really test. Just kind of irritating since there is the rest of the test server for that.
6 - I am assuming that there is a reason but why does SOE own the stations? Assuming this ties in with the lore, shouldn't these be Jove or Sleeper (forgot what the actual name is) stations? Why would SOE have them? Just makes no sense.

As a long time griefer and pirate, I can't imagine a more 'blood-bath' like system then this setup. Everyone will want to go there to gank WH corps galore. Another isk-meat grinder added to eve...waste of our subscription money really. Every WH entrance will be gate camped.
Ah! You should rename the system to.... ARENA!!!
