I'm sure it's been said before but warp scramblers, especially the short range ones, give pirates far to large of an advantage over us non-pvp types. I'm down with having scramblers that lengthen the time it takes to get into warp. But locking someone completely out of warp is too powerful. Either that or give t1 stabs 2 pts instead of 1. There are ships where you physically cannot mount enough stabs on them, and there are no skills to help.

Hmmm I dont know about this one... I just bought 2 domination warp disruptors.
I will however, be happy to exchange them for, 2 domination targeted empire capable interdictor sphere launchers, that can fit on my Arazu.

lol stop whining about not being 100% invulnerable.
FYI couple nights ago I was on a pvp op and stupidly only used a single 20k. Last night i used a 20km and a 7.5km and STILL people warped away from my inty. -----

Those ships tend to be frigates ... frigates can move fast ... and warp scramblers have a limited range. Whizz out of that range, and away you go.
Or they tend to be industrials .. in which case ... don't be such a goddam fool as to pilot a large, slow, all-but-defenceless ship without an escort, if you expect to run into dangerous situations. ________________________________________________

QFT Ozzie QFT
Question to the op.... How can I get kills if people can simply warp away from me when their tank starts to break?
If you can answer that you win EVE.(and dont start on the inty bumping people out of allignment crap either)

An excellent suggestion was made some time ago on how the system could be re-worked; essentially everything would have a warp capacitor, which warp scramblers and performing any warping would drain.
Once your warp capactitor drops below a certain level you can no longer warp, the flip side of this is there would be no mass warp in - warp out in fleet battles, and everyone would have to stay and fight longer, or even to the bitter end ----------

My ******* god.
Let's ignore the fact that you can counter our active, range-dependant modules (disruptors and scramblers) with your passive warp core stabilisers. Instead, let's focus on the fact that the single biggest thorn in PVPers' collective side is that it's extremely hard to force a fight out of someone who is both intelligent and unwilling. Seriously - ask any experienced PVPer and they'll tell you the same.
How about (as has been mentioned) a scout? How about avoiding hazardous areas? How about using a ship that's more adept at escaping? How about playing with just a small amount of thought and adaptability before running here and complaining that an element of the game doesn't suit your exact, lazy needs?
This has to be the most absurd nerf demand for some time. |

Don't put yourself in a situation where you're sure to get tackled, and you won't. if you're in a belt in something that can be caught, assume you will be. You don't get to decide you don't feel like getting pirated in low sec, and just make yourself immune. When you entered that low sec system, you had to click "yes" on the pop up asking "Are you sure you like to be mercilessly ganked and podkilled?" You took the risk, knowing you could only fit so many stabs, and put yourself in a position where a pirate with sufficient midslots and/or friends could tackle and gank you. See those bad guys in local? Yeah, they're going to try and kill you, that's kind of their thing; you don't get the luxury of knowingly entering a dangerous area and not being exposed to danger regardless of being the 'non-pvp type.'
Don't be stupid, and you won't get ganked. I can't count on 2 hands how many times I've tried to tackle someone only to find them stabbed, refit an extra scrambler or 2 (in this situation I count your low slots and make sure I have a point for each +1, and/or a buddy) and come back out only to find them right back in the belts. You got lucky and got out once, don't be a complete moron and assume someone is going to give up, leave the freaking system. Or take your chances and wager your ship and pod that with my mids filled with scrams instead of an AB and web you're faster and can get out of range before I can kill you. Hell, an iteron with stabs, AB and a webber almost did it. Almost
Don't like it? Stay in high sec. Hell, I'd hate to see the crying once you discover the miracle of bubbles in 0.0

I think I should be invulnerable from all weapons and all scramblers and should be able to mine in 0.0 for the best ore in the game in peace, and if any pirate shoots me or mines in the same belt as me or steals my ore then CONCORD should instagank them and their entire corp and then camp all of their stations for no less than 6 months, because pirates are evil. The contents of their corp hanger and wallet should also be transferred to me, as well as the deed to their house and their real life girlfriends. Anything less is unfair to me
